This is an explanation of how I chose to create my hastily constructed fighting positions. This is not necessarily to military standard but I feel like it accomplishes the goal of cover and concealment quickly, for a security posture of 12-24hr. Hope you learn something! Thanks for watching. #preparedness #diy #citizen #forest

Salomons are the GOAT. I have the Goretex Versions in Black. Wore them Backpacking all over Germany for three months. However, the Toecap began to separate and the wear on my treads is a lot in some places. Yesterday Salomon honored my warranty and sent me a voucher with free shipping for a new pair which I got brown. Only thing I’d say is the sizing is strange. I wear a size 10.5 for Vans. I personally along with other guys who have Salomons always need to size down usually a whole size unless you have wide feet. Even with thick socks and sizing down to a 9.5 from a 10.5 I have more than enough room.

Curious about your thoughts on the Garmin Instinct Solar watch. I was looking into that exact same model. Do you find it to be bulky or cumbersome as some smart watches are? Also what do you think about the battery life? Do you charge it with a cord every day? I like the idea of having the route planner built in.

We used to make a pouch from a kind of fabric lume material, tape it up, leaving one side open and stick an ice scraper (the flat kind) in it. The ice scraper was roughed up with fine sand paper and could be written on with pencil. Two writing systems in one.

Yeah really enjoy the hot weathers! Cheap at surplus stores and are very durable. Extremely comfortable after you break them in and great pockets. I really don’t have too many clothing recommendations besides Darn Tough socks and ranger panties as underwear (cotton kills). Just durable outdoor type clothing from a reputable company. You get what you pay for. Id stay away from companies like TruSpec, Propper, 5.11 etc. Buy one really nice pair of something, then use the hell out of it.

I’m a liberal. I own firearms. My point? Don’t judge a book by its cover. I appreciate the respect between both parties here! What I always try to tell my wife is that education is the key to anything, and especially firearms. Not everyone needs to be able to hit a target 400 yards down range within pinpoint precision-but they ought be able to at least check if a firearm is live and be able to disarm one. Great video.

Love the education. American liberals are less fond of guns but still shoot and can appreciate the second amendment. Not sure what the sentiment is about the “left” people being completely opposed to guns as individual people, like we don’t have a century of warfare with people much farther left than American liberals very much so loving guns. We actually bumped into each other a bunch over in Europe and Asia for awhile there. If you want to make people appreciate the realities of firearms you educate. As opposed to insulting and putting them off as much as I’ve been put off at gun shows or shops dealing with Ol’ Bobby .50 cal open carry insulting a stranger looking for their first handgun and asking questions about owning a gun. Part of the problem is people thinking a .22 is a pack of C4 that might explode in their hands instead of a tube that shoots some metal at speed out of the end of the metal tube. Insulting and shaming them doesn’t make them more comfortable with our gun laws.

    • @LongLiveAppalachia

Dude she even posted some videos and pictures of guns on her Social Media, so now all her “left” friends we’ll get exposure to firearms from a “left” person. Culture… that’s how we effect change
