The Frits Bayens Bigband (FBBB) was founded in 1975. Under the inspiring leadership of band leader and founder Frits Bayens, the band has developed into one of the best non-commercial big bands in the Netherlands in recent years. Since October 2020, the band has been under the inspiring leadership of Jasper Staps.

What a great band and musicians, my only quibble, in your 1916 performance the diction of the lyrics by the choir was not as clear as in later performances . All musicians and sound technicians improve with time and practice! I've been a lover of Duke Ellington's since he signed me his autograph at his 70th birthday concert in Bristol, UK in 1969
