I mean i generally knew that i had to give the glow in when theres light but i don't know what angle spespectives its supposed to be at guess at some point its just logic and Ben smart😅😂
lighting is something i still have some trouble with ngl! ;;; i think what helps is to try to study from real life with lamps and lights and see how it lands on surfaces
@@ophangel didn't think about using realife example of lighting... I mean I did for other stuff but not for lighting, I'm just stupid lol😅😅

What app do you use that you can change the area of what you drew???? That'll be helpful if that was in ibis paint
i think what you may be referring to is the lasso/magic wand tool? i'm not familiar with ibis unfortunately ;;;

Congrats on 100+ subs! I know you say you're not that great at animating, but this looks super cute! Really love your rendition of Primarina"s already design. The wet hair look is just chef kiss! Also, FireAlpaca is a bit tedious to animate in, so you got my respect for that alone haha. The animating things separately part is genius! It's something I mostly see people do in 3D animation but it sounds like it'd work great in 2D too :0c Definitely gotta try it if I ever get the bright idea of doing an animation again.
@@kemiandthemachine you’re honestly so sweet that makes me so happy to hear 😭😭😭 it’s TOTALLY TEDIOUS but the final effort feels good! i’m gonna try to teach myself 3D since that’s on my to get to listen to but gosh… the learning curve is steep! i’ll get there though 💪😤
@@ophangel Eey! Good luck learning 3D! 🙌 My best advice is to start with a tutorial on the basic interface and then only focus on what you’re interested in, it really simplifies the whole process. If you’re planning on using Blender, don’t use the donut tutorial (If you know, you know, if you don’t, you will XD), it gives you waaay too much info!

Do you have any tips for new artists? I'm trying to get into art and I love your style
my biggest tip would be to follow as many artists that you like!!! and to absorb all sorts of methods of drawing - you’d be surprised to see what you can apply from digital to traditional works and vice versa! also that there is no shame in using a variety or tools or tutorials or references! ❤️ i wish you the best of luck! ❤️✨

She's so cute! I really love the little eyes you added, it really sells the whole fish-vibe and it's adorably goofy. I agree she has a bit of a green tinge that might be washing out the blue and her skin tone. I think it looks nice and adds a mossy vibe, but that might not be what you were going for, haha. Either way, I really love her design!
