please stick around! watch a video, leave a comment if you're into it, write a mean remark in your diary if you're not, leave a like if you're so inclined. more videos than publicly listed if you're loving it and up for trawling through my playlists. these are small pieces of my life that i have put thought and care into that i have shoved into a bottle and thrown into the ocean that is youtube so to speak, so if you come at me backwards i will probably just block you.. nothing personal just, nobody's got time for that.
bon appetit!

exhausted by this. in every sphere, it's like, how many times do we have to show ourselves to them until they can take the first step and see us. not even do anything, just, witness humanity. of course, they won't do anything like that by themselves. they must be forced to change. thinking about joan of arc as a gender nonconforming hero and of the martyrs of palestine. . the only way i see any...

Hey, thank you for this, it showed up in my app right when I needed it.
anytime 💕
Really appreciate the acappella version, w/ a piano instrumental, this rendition of this song could be very good.
maybe, i don't want to give this song much thought tho. it's a good song just. no effort w production is as much a dismissal of the emotional experience that drove me to sing it and a psychological cost-cutting measure at once lol
lol divulging too much to nice stranger on the internet, but thanks for listening might delete soon
is hypnotizing the way you act 😍
thank you kindly! ❤
Good job bro.. 👍🙏😊
I love this song, what a wonderfull voice!!!
thank you v much!! <3
:p
love your voice its so powerful
thanks for listening :)
Omg your voice is so beautiful and you're singing the most beautiful song too, I love it!
thank you very much, i am glad to hear you enjoyed!
YOU REALLY DID IT. This is truly phenomenal - I never imagined somebody would attempt to make this song more haunting and magical than Bush herself, but you dared to go there and you really did do it. I was apprehensive in the beginning because I *adore* the songs potential for wails and screeches and could tell you were going in a different direction, but I soon wanted to follow you every step of the way. Loved what you did with the bridge and I thought that’d be the peak, but your “ooh”s and “mmm”s (sorry, I don’t know the lingo!) that followed were an absolute delight. I want to hear your eery, troubled trembles blowing through my house every rainy night. And that ending! Goddamn you had us clinging onto every syllable. This was such an interesting rendition and you filled it with expression, emotion and story-telling. You consider everything and make every part of yourself work with the song. You are truly divine and you deserve to be a star. I’m glad you delivered this, but I’m now mega intrigued to see/hear what your mind comes up with for more of Kate’s music (I’ll never stop asking for more 😂)
oh you can't say such things at this time, it's almost 4:00 am where i am and now i'll have trouble sleeping. heart overflowing, thank you for inviting this into the world <3
also i really am spoiling my own take on this now but if you haven't yet i would really recommend checking out cecile mclorin salvant's cover of this song with the song "breathing," there's a live recording on youtube and it is exquisite. that is the one for me. in any case, i am so grateful this resonated
God!! I just keep watching this!❤ The ending is just top notch !👏
thank you, i am so glad it speaks to you!!
Omg ❤ loves it , I know it's an emotional song and all , but in your version I felt every word and every feeling!! You're so talented, keep going ❤ I watch all of your videos love you ❤
thank you for watching and for your kind words of appreciation 💗
I love this! The expression, vocals, and energy..: just after 1:10 “melodyy” is chilling! Keep it up
thank you so much, very appreciated!!
Would love to hear you do more Bush. Your voice really fits with her whimsy, emotional quirks. I love how low and trembly you’re able to go without losing that feminine playfulness - it’s so satisfying to hear her music through such a different voice while still carrying the same energies, especially an early, more delicate song like this. I pray that you get rich and make a studio-produced cover of her entire first/second albums… I would eat that shit up!
thank you for this comment, you know just how to flatter me!! haha :) kate bush is a mainstay of my "singing while walking to the gas station to get quick and easy food" repertoire....actually there was one instance where i was doing just that with a kate bush song and i am fairly certain that that was the cause of a traffic accident lmfao. have been thinking of doing more of her for a while, this just might be the nudge that gets it moving. keep an eye out!
Responsible for a traffic accident? Well that’s proof of your talent right there lmao I look forward to hearing more from you!
😛
Hi Sorcha- I love your acting choices. Somehow you’ve come into my algorithm and I’ve enjoyed watching you perform! Best of luck to you.
thank you! that means a lot, especially coming from a fellow actor. thanks for tuning in; all the best to you as well :))
Your brilliant, I am totally crazy from your acting
thank you !! hopefully beatlemania type crazy and not yelling at children in the supermarket crazy ;) i have been in both situations and know which i prefer haha
Can you teach me please, please please please please please please please please please please please please please please
i wish i was qualified to teach, i have been out of lessons for so long myself i wouldn't know where to begin. are you a singer? actor?

@@sorchamccarrey please sorcha guide me, I am preparing for college admission auditions, I don't know where to start , I am so scared,What to do please guide me
@@pradumnakumarmishramishra2933 i am doing the same!! ok. i am not qualified to truly teach but feel free to email me and i would be happy to share what resources i have. i'm working with a coach rn and could pass some tools on to you
Thanks ,I really appreciate it
Fabulous, Oscar winning acting ,keep it up
wow, thank you so much, i work rly hard on these so thank you for the compliment!
Nice job. Are you playing with a live piano player?
yea, my mother is the pianist
@@sorchamccarrey nice
Brilliantly done, though at some points it was impossible to hear, I did enjoy the drop in anger that resulted in that quite. Very inspiring to me.
thanks for watching ! i hear you, yeh it does get borderline comprehensible with lack of vocalization at points. edit: also watching back it does go rly fast too u might be talking abt that haha i stretch the audience's sense of intelligibility in any case; thank you for the feedback and appreciation :)
Such a lovely version.
thank you :))
this just popped up on my reccomended i love it
nicee, good to hear of the algorithm not shafting me lol, thanks for watching!
Heeey! I really love this song so I'm glad you decided to cover it and I really enjoyed that you gave your own personal touch to it. Great job as always!
thank you for tuning in, glad to hear you enjoyed it ! :D
💞👍
Thanks for the recording! Nice job!
thanks for watching !
Love this! Sorry to keep coming in with the suggestions, but I think that evermore from beauty and the beast and anything from Hamilton would sound amazing!
lol i appreciate you!! suggest away, whether i do them or not is another question. i'm just going to disillusion you now that these ones i probably will not do, as i have a general antipathy both for disney and hamilton (altho i enjoy lin manuel miranda's work elsewhere!!). i have a semi-strict no disney rule for singing, even when i'm just going thru almost every song i know, very few of them will be disney songs. maybe i was overexposed as a kid, idk, they just tend to feel pretty tired to me these days. i think "part of your world" is the one exception on my channels so far. but please feel free to keep the requests coming!! i really like sondheim or any vein of pretentious arty musical theatre, classic jazz standards, throwback broadway, etc... i just emailed michael r. jackson (writer of a strange loop) to request some sheet music for an old song he wrote if that helps you to triangulate my tastes too. rly tho i appreciate the suggestions, i enjoyed doing little miss perfect!!
@@sorchamccarrey I love jazz as well! One song I really enjoyed from Chicago that night suit ur voice is all that jazz :)
@@idiotgaybucket527 that's more like it!! lol but i'm just gonna challenge you and say if you're gonna request something pls make it a lil more off the beaten path, i am much much more likely to do it that way. i often like to do songs that people may not know or only have heard once or twice instead of like whatever broadway barn burner they hear their drunk coworker sing at karaoke every office party >:^} lol now i am teasing you a lil but in that vein + less known = i will almost definitely give it a go. i like to expand my audience's horizons :P
Heey, I usually don't write comments on videos but I just wanted to tell you that I think you're really talented, you really feel the song and put a lot of passion in singing it. Anyways, I admire you a lot and I hope you can achieve anything you want to. (ps. english is not my first language so I apologize if I said anything incorrectly)
thank you very much for this, it is really appreciated and it moves me to hear that you liked it. do you perform?
also you don't need to sweat the english, very well spoken as far as i saw
@@sorchamccarrey Well, if you consider singing in the shower performing, then yes lol. Jokes aside, even though I don't perform I'm always singing (I have a friend who used to be really annoyed by that lol) and I love musicals, honestly I just find it really beautiful how we can convey basically any emotion through songs
@@alicealmon6631 i love that!! i guess it depends on whether or not there is anyone in the next room who can hear your bathroom-belting. music is a wonder! i esp. like musical theatre for that reason as well, the combination of drama/overt storytelling + music is magic.
