Yes the good superliner. I Drove 1989 superliner it Was ordered with the 3406 Cat air to air and a15 speed. It was a logging truck. I've driven a few trucks And that mack superliner. Is the best one. In my opinion.

I drove 2 Superliner’s in my trucking career. The first was the special edition 1985 Mack Magnum with an E-9 500 hp V-8. It was ordered with the T-2090 9 speed going into 5:02 full screw rears (no power divider, both axles driving all the time) onto lo pro 24.5 rubber. The second was a 1992 with the E-9 500 hp but with the Williams air throttle that replaced the cable throttle which always stretched due to the air ride cab. This looks me also had the T-2090 9 speed but went into 4:42 power divider rears onto 24.5 tall rubber. This one also had the twin outside air cleaners like the Aussie trucks are sporting but without the tall air scoops. The air pressure in the throttle was turned up to give this one 690 horses on the ground. Thank goodness my boss speced it with the heavy haul driveline since turning it up also increased the torque to 2400ft/lbs. it would pull a 10% grade grossing 90,000 lbs one gear down at 65 mph and not even raise the pyro temp to 700 degrees F

Why do they stretch out the chassis rails like that in the U.S. ? They look fuk’ing stupid & there fuel economy with a pan would be horrible having such a big gap between the cab & trailer. Diesel probably cheap as fuk in the U.S. They pay a lot less then us anywayz i think

Is it a good idea to have music, instead of say a large piece of Bristol board ,or even card board, and write on it the year make model miles on engine and trans, what type of motor and transmission, previous accidents, the price 50k and your phone number, then you play music.

These bring back memories, mostly how much I hated those rough riding things, more than once I put over 1,000 miles on one in 24 hours and when I got out of the truck. My back hurt for another 24 hours. I do have to admit I did make a good living. To be fair, all cab overs were rough riding not just Freightliner. International, GMC, Pete, KW, Marmon, Ford . One thing about the GMC, and Ford had the best heaters of them all. The newer ones from 1970 and up the older ones were about the same as the others cold. Would keep from freezing not real comfortable like today's trucks
