The Sheets Family Band at Legends of Grayson Tribute to E.C. & Orna Ball
On April 7, 2024 Legends of Grayson presented a tribute to E.C. & Orna Ball of Rugby, Va. In this video, The Sheets Family Band play and sing their hearts out, covering many of the gospel and old-time tunes that made the Balls famous. Randy Sheets grew up near Whitetop Mountain, and he and his wife, Deborah Jean, now reside in Vilas, NC. They're joined by their daughter, fiddler Kelly Sheets Snider. Completing the band are Kay Justice from Whytheville and Cecil Garganus from Todd, NC.
