I use to love Marc Maron on the series Glow. I’m curious which one of us sounds and acts like him. Personally I’d take that as a compliment. I’d guess it’s Don. The funny thing is this is just being us. The whole podcast started from the actual conversations/arguments we’d have after watching a movie. Thanks for being a listener.

I don't know how this doesn't have more views and comments. I'm glad I found you guys while searching for another movie podcast to listen to on my way to and from work. I've already gone through most of the Spotify stuff now I'm trying to do YT but my phone times out and it cuts off (still trying to figure out a work around) lol. My previous podcast was Shat The Movies and you guys have the same chemistry if not more as I can tell you have history with each other. Not sure if anyone will see this comment but you'll laugh at my only negative comment is when you were doing the best 80's action flick and some that weren't in that category and everyone pretty much kept referring to firearm magazines as "clips"....ugh...like nails on a chalkboard. Not because of my law enforcement background but everyone does it I suppose because the movies did it as well. Anyways, that's really my only negative take away. I've got most of 2022 and 2021 left to listen to and I'm still so glad I found you guys! Keep it coming!!! I'll be putting in some submissions as soon as I can. 😎

I ask myself the same question everyday…lol. So glad to have you listening, and we look forward to reviewing you movie suggestions in the future. Regarding “clips”, yeah we are guilty of movie lingo crimes. Please throw the book at us a time we screw up like that. Thanks again, Jon, aka…The Comic Book Guy.

... the book was about why young men go to war. I suppose one of the reasons why men go to war was because of propaganda movies such as this movie appeared to be... subtle but it forgot the iconic status of the book

*Spoilers ahead!* SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME has all the fan service we've been expecting, but it's not as funny as HOMECOMING and FAR FROM HOME. During the final battle, the title character asks Dr. Strange to cast a spell to make everyone forget who Peter Parker is (but not who Spider-Man is) in order to save the multi-verse. Here's the problem: During the first act, Strange had already tried to cast it, but Peter kept mentioning the names of people he wanted to not be affected by the magic. The spell went wrong and that's why the multi-verse got in danger in the first place. OK, but it's because Strange couldn't concentrate, not because his magic wouldn't be able to make exceptions. Therefore, there's no reason why he couldn't add those conditions during the second attempt. It comes off as an excuse to show a heroic sacrifice, but if the hero doesn't actually have to sacrifice anything, there's no dramatic weight. Also, memories are erased, but the past isn't changed in any way. This makes no sense, considering the events that wouldn't have happened had it not been for Peter (unmasked)! For example, Happy Hogan remembers his relationship with Aunt May. How does he think he met her?! And there's no indication that the spell erased physical evidence that would make people remember Peter. There's a scene where the Green Goblin mask is broken and I think it's because many viewers don't like its design (something I don't personally agree with). Was there no other way to execute this moment than to have Norman Osborn swing a rock?! Literally once?! Oscorp has so much advanced technology, yet the material is fragile like glass?! Flash Thompson (Peter's douchy classmate) publishes a book where he falsely claims to be Peter's friend. A while later, he gets into M.I.T. while Peter and his friends don't, due to all the bad publicity. Wait, then why wasn't Flash's application rejected too? Speaking of Peter's friends, Ned Leeds asks Tobey Maguire's version of Peter if he has a best friend. He replies "I did. He died in my arms... after he tried to kill me." Why are the important details omitted (Harry Osborn turned good and he died protecting Peter)? Because the focus is on Ned's shock. I guess humor has to be prioritized over logic? 7/10

Bone Tomahawk made so little at the box office because it was only released in like 500 theaters and was barely promoted PS: Bone Tomahawk, The Hateful Eight, and The Revenant all came out in 2015 and Bone Tomahawk was the best by far, imo. Bone Tomahawk is prob my favorite movie tho

@@3guysandaflick so I'm still listening and you guys asked about why Purvis and Buddy didn't just go around the burial ground and i always thought that was exactly what Zahler wants you to ask... Because it's the main theme of the whole movie! The burial ground is obviously important to someone but since it's just "a bunch of godless savages" Buddy just trudges thru anyway! Lol Buddy JUST got finished saying how the beliefs of the savages is no concern to a civilizeman and then he scratches his crotch with the barrel of his LOADED and COCKED pistol and spits! Everyone in this film who is driven by honor, duty, or a sense of superiority ends up dead! The survivors are the people who thought that things thru, used their cunning, and didn't underestimate the situation

Last one I swear lol... Cuz I just finished! When the Trog-Dogs pull Nick apart you say "notice his entrails fall out" but I got an even better one!! When they start pulling Nick apart, just before they go out to the wide shot to show his guts spill out... You can actually see Nick's goddamn TAILBONE sticking up after the flesh is torn away from it! So... Zahler really made it a point to give that (INCREDIBLE) prosthetic a freaking tailbone JUST so it would be visible for a split second!!
