A few episodes from the 1980s (maybe 'archive' is an exaggerating..!). Slightly bad VHS copies, but I thought I'd share anyway, since it seems these aren't available on dvd or anything at all. Maybe it'll encourage an official release one day?

Rentaghost was without doubt the worst kids programme ever made. Utter shite. I remember being a kid and wondering how people actually got paid real money for making this.
The cellar only features in the last series of Rentaghost, if you watch the early series with Fred Mumford it seems like a different programme
I was on a bus in Salford some years ago when the driver received a message from the control room saying "Don't go into Little Hulton". The intonation in the voice was almost exactly like the manner in which the infamous phrase became part of Rentaghost. When my Mum was looking to move to Salford she asked me what Little Hulton was like and I simply replied "Don't Go Into the Cellar". I think Mum got the message.
It was a shame I was not older than 15 in the year 1984 if I had been 9 or 10 years older than I was in 1984 say 25 or 26 I would have been billions of times happier and I would hope to have had a better paid job than I got aged 20 in 1989.
My claim to fame I was Bernie St. John
NO! REALLY?
Did you do any other acting roles after you were Bernie St. John? I remember you were credited as Vincent White, sadly you joined Rentaghost when it was going downhill
It’s sad to think 3 years after this, Michael Staniforth passed away aged only 44 in 1987.
I was thinking the same. Omg
thank you so much for these episodes I skivedoff school for this
No you didn't as it was always on after school..
