Mallorca 2024 Cap de Formentor

A short video I made of our day cycling the iconic route to the lighthouse at the Cap de Formentor, just outside Port de Pollenca, Spain. We rode this 45 km route with 1,000m climbing in April 2024.
Our rides in Cuba are much more relaxing than the exciting climbs and curves in Mallorca. We enjoy our Cuba winter rides as a relaxing yet active winter vacation. The base miles in Cuba set us up for great spring and summer cycling.

This walk covered about 10 km from our Hotel Sol Rio de Luna y Mares (near Paradisus Rio Oro. There is about 1.5 km along the Guardalavaca - Holguin Highway but there is a broad gravel shoulder to walk on. After that, it's mostly a dirt path wide enough for a horse buggy. Beth and I arrived in Guardalavaca area and once we got our bikes together we rode about 15 km out toward Banes, and then back past the strip of hotels along the beach.
