Great explanation. Thanks! I notice you said you do the inspection as part of a regular home inspection. My realtor advised me to skip the mold inspection just for that reason, that it will be part of the home inspection, so why pay extra for it. I’d feel better just getting it done separately, though. And to get a mold test, just for my own satisaction before buying the place.
A mold assessment is not part of a home inspection, and depending on the state, it is required to have a mold inspectors license to perform a mold inspection. So unless the home inspector has the proper certifications or qualifications, they’d be creating a liability for themselves to purport themselves as a mold expert. Yes, anyone can identify mold that is obvious, but performing a mold inspection goes far beyond that.
What do you set the dampers at to achieve this? I have Honeywell m947d dampers. My upstairs is staying hot
