Pearson Farm
Приєднався 25 жов 2011
For five generations our family has farmed the red clay of Crawford County: growing peaches, pecans, asparagus, timber, cotton, corn and other crops. In 1973, Al Pearson began operating this farm, a partnership effort owned by our family. We farmed together for 35 years until 2008, when my son, Lawton, joined the business, continuing this centennial farming operation. His energy and ability tempered by my experience seems to be working to carry this family farm well into its second century.
“You've got to have a lot of faith to be a farmer.” My dad often said. He was right. Successful farming today requires a blend of art, talent, hard work and faith. The products that we deliver are a testimony to that.

Amazing peaches !
Im eating 2 right now in Michigan. Jun 6th. They're fresh.
So yummy! What type of manure do you use and how many times do you water the trees?
These dorks charge $28 for 7 peaches, delivered to your Manhattan penthouse. Bon apetit.
Love your videos! I’m watching from Utah and remember seeing your peaches at the grocery stores locally.
Flynt family peach explosion atomic bomb 69 charge death fire vicerated blast shit chip over and over
We have found the best peaches we pick in our orchard are the ones that are shaded. The ones in the sun are red and soft and unless eaten in the orchard, not marketable.
End product with pure flavor, bright colour, and high juice output percentage
Hi, may I ask why there is just ladies checking your peaches on the belt, I notice you say ladies, any reason? Are women better at spotting defects on peaches?
Women naturally handle fruit more gently than men who grab. It helps decrease bruising. Also, women have more attention to detail when it comes to culling fruit.
hey looking for a bit of insight on rootstock. Long story shortened I lost a few plum trees but had growth come back from the roots, which I believe are peaches. I only can get a little info but it seems that 2 of the most popular rootstocks would be Lovell and Halford. previous readings tell me that many of the rootstocks were the best peaches in their day so just how bad could the rootstock be to allow to grow ? I had 1 sucker and the rootstock grew large while the graft never grew at all even when I pulled the suckers so was why I let it grow it is producing peaches this year. It is been almost impossible to grow these trees with the late frosts and other issues so am impressed with how nice your trees and fruit look. I will possibly graft these over to plums. TY
Lovely fruits! Are these peaches sweet, juicy, tangy, or just a sweet flavor?
You might be a distant cousin
You ain't the only Pearson
Hey the comments are disabled on the more recent videos. Thanks for making these!!!
Thank you! First peaches after 5th year. Have no idea what to do!
2:25 anyone else see that Franken-peach?
Thank you so much. Peaches are delicious and with technology today it has helped you grow bigger and sell more as a company. Continue the heritage from your family to ours.
How long will these keep if stored in airtight container?
About 6 months to 1 year

Sir i am from pakistan i grow many verity of peach and plum in my gardons sir what is the name of this verity of peach and what is the market value pr kg reply soon
I must comment. There is no doubt the best peaches come from Georgia, that's a fact! Two years now I have bought a box of peaches from a fund drive by Nasonic Temple in Bremen Ga. Both times they were outstanding! I shared a few with some friends, we all agreed they were the very best peaches we have ever had. Now I gotta find a local store that sells them.
Why only ladies
yes, i was wondering what gender has to do with it too.......
@@melissakingsley-smith2767 more of a woman's job. You'll have the men in the warehouse and out in the heat and muck.
@@IITJII95 so sexist yuk....come on get with the present time....
@@IITJII95 I agree with you
@@melissakingsley-smith2767 it's not sexist. It makes more sense to have the blokes doing the heavy lifting. Women wouldn't do well in a warehouse environment.
Do you have Fiesta Gem this summer?
Thanks so much for the question. We had Fiesta Gem at the beginning of the summer. They are an early variety
Very beautiful ! Bravo, Pearson Farm !

Food grade wax is natural wax that’s made from carnauba wax produced from the leaves of the carnauba palm. It’s been used for decades in food preservation. Nothing to be scared of when you consider the pesticides that fruit and veg get sprayed with!
we used on our apples in California
