Awesome guys. I see so many saw millers only cutting 8 foot and longer trees. I Dug out some pecan sections from a friends pile and sawed some beautiful lumber. Nothing longer than 3 foot but wonderful for cutting boards and charcuterie boards.

Thank you. Yeah, short logs are useful too, dont want to waste them. And sometimes we only need short boards for some project. Glad to hear your experience, I bet you want to saw more logs in the future.

  • @littlegriffoffgridalberta6837

Good job for getting a few bords ! I'm sure you have your log stops moved to the far rail by now where they are meant to be , and I'm quite sure we all get excited to make our own lumber and we all make mistakes :) I will be putting one together soon :)

Well first of all this is not an actual antique sofa. It was made in the 1990's, Indonesian reproduction. The giveaway is the construction, the lack of proper webbing and the use of foam. An original would have used horsehair and cotton batting and had real springs..

Would you able to list the items and tools used for the project like 1) what kind of a upholstery gun ,it's cost and bought from where? 2) what kind of staples goes in that gun? 3) What do you call those string of round pins you used on the edges? 4) how much meters of fabric you ordered and from where? . Thanks

Thank you. I order the upholstery stable gun from amazon, they have all different kinds. Different prices .You can choose the one you like. And for the size of stables, the gun you chose will tell you the size range for stables. I ordered the stables and the stable gun as a pack. Those pins are called decorative nail trimming for couch. You can also find online. I ordered the fabric several years ago for other projects. I just used some for this couch. I ordered the fabric online, but i can't remember the website site. I think the price for the fabric might be more expensive now. Hope these answers will help you. Have a good day!
