Hey, thanks! I don’t fly in VR. I don’t have a ton of horsepower, just enough to play. Ha. 32 GB of RAM and a 1660. I would say you would need at least 64 of RAM and a 3080 to even really think about VR.

32 gig ram with gtx3070. oculus quest 2 since I got into vr I can not go back. even though msfsx was my first flight sim non vr. can run msfs2020 and dcs on high settings but in vr has to be low...with some minor bugs....next purchase is more ram and see how it goes.

Yeah, there was a time when I could occasionally see out at 60. Recently, it has been closer to 40.

We usually turn off position lights and leave formation on. This is just to help formation flying. If we were or are playing in a PVP server, we would definitely have them fully off. In PVE it’s just for a bit more authenticity really.

Yeah, it’s definitely something that I will continue to try/learn. I haven’t been able to get close enough to even try to find ground targets as of yet. Haha.

Sorta. In this server, it’s not nearly as important because you can’t use fox-3s. Mostly, it’s something that I got out of the habit of doing and just haven’t gone back to doing it. I need to remember to do it for sure the next time I use fox 3s
