Hey man nice job on this video well explained it helped me
If you want to take it a step further and fix the timer that usually comes down to some corrosion or build up on the contacts. If you take it apart and use a knife or some sandpaper and file the copper leads down back to the bare metal current should be able to flow again and the timer will work.
My Dad always says "If it aint broke don't fix it"
I’ve had my grizzly for 20 years (bought new and now done 12,000 farm kms) and it has always sounded like that when starting and never given any trouble.
I know it's three years later. But ya that is 100% normal. Polaris sportsman does the same thing. It's the way they are designed.
Your inducer is going bad.
Como quitar incion cyo
very well explained video
why do nearly everyone not put the gasket on the dowel first, and not try and put bolts in so much easier than fiddle with the bolts the gasket fits perfect over dowels
Excellent job!
That inducer motor sounds really bad😮😮
How did you get the cdi rotor to not spin when you removed it with the puller?
Perfectly normal mine and my dads make the same noise!
I have never used sandpaper. I think you could scratch the surface of the sensor making it more susceptible to fail again because it will collect stuff or develop calcification or rust. I always use fine steel wool. but that's all me , haven't read it anywhere, just my assumption and of course I could be wrong
I have a 99 grizzly same problem just ordered the starter ECT .thanks for posting your video very helpful.
The video quality is excellent, with close-up shots that clearly show each step of the process, helpful tips and guidance throughout the video. Thank you for sharing this informative video! We offer for good quality Goodman furnace replacement parts from OEM
Bendix is junk google the issue im correct on this.
Have similar issue, but the woodruff key keeps slipping or getting worn down after replaced the rotor and starter ring gear & new starter. What could cause the woodruff key to continue to need to be replaced if everything else has been checked and seems to be in good condition? Any suggestions?
Mine does that too
Siren is sounds ac p-15
Why are you using 3in1 oil on the treads? Once you torque them they want be correct at all. They will be to tight. And why oil on the gasket? It's supposed to go on dry that way the oil soaks it but goes now further.
thank you. very helpful
You need to fix the inducer issue....jesus!
Thanks your video helped me
What oil do you use, and oil filter part # please?
We're is your vin located at
I got a 98 with same issue
Man that induction motor is loud
Win it was sticking did it make it blow the boot off the carb
have the same machine does exactly the same thing thx good video
Do you know if the door switch is also connected to the heating element? We have the same dryer, and we have noticed since the heat quit working, the dryer also doesnt stop spinning when we open the door.
We have the same furnace, inducer motor sounded the same way. It locked up about a year later. Just a heads up. It’s going to fail.
Did yours also leak rust out of the bottom right corner? If so what caused it
We have the same furnace, inducer motor sounded the same way. It locked up about a year later. Just a heads up. It’s going to fail.
Thanks for this. I needed to know where the flame sensor was! Removed. Steel wool. Replaced. Worked like a charm.
Took 10 mon
mine did that to but im pretty sure it bent the crank its squealing really bad like a crank bearing is seized or it just bent
My 2001 600 Grizzly makes the same noise, so does my brothers 98’ and my buddies 98’. And so many others here agree. That noise is perfectly normal 🤙🏽 Great video! Thanks for sharing!
You can spray some dielectric lubricant like BLASTER multi max in to the motor bearings and it should help for a while but I'd still buy a replacement draft fan because there not easy to find at local stores took me a week to get mine
Hey buddy I don't know if you know it or not but you're inducer is making entirely too much noise sounds like the bearings are really noisy you should change the inducer motors because it's going to go it should not be that noisy,
Have the same machine. My starter stopped working. Now I just use the pull starter. Runs great.
How in the world do you have the strength to use the pull start? What’s the trick I have been trying to use the pull start and I can’t pull it
That inducer motor has worn out bearings!
I was just going to say that, that is extremely loud.
I have one, same noise. Is there a spring retract spring on the idle assembly, or does the hub gear have to kick it back? That would make that noise that others, including myself) is finding normal? (Try twisting the idler assembly) Do the teeth look damaged at all? Great video by the way! You're very literate and thorough. You also know correct terms. Not to mention, the video quality. Thanks for sharing.
I have a 2000 Grizzly 600. It’s normal. Never heard a 600 that didn’t make that noise.
Check I think it’s your one way bearing
My 2001 grizzly does the same thing. Normal.
Just bought used grizzly . Hope it ain't that . good vid. N know how you show us 👍
So you had a to use a crows foot to get it out, but you don’t need it to press the rotor back in? I’m changing mine rn and it’ll only start good if jumper is hooked 9/10 times. But when it’s just the (brand new) battery it seems like the Bendix is missing the rotor teeth. Just checking to make sure!
Theres a shaft inside called the idler gear the hits the flywheel stator not on the starter but inside with a one way bearing.
The 600 doesn't have a oneway bearing on the starter side flywheel
Sure it does its on the bendix
@@Rescuearmor not talking about the flywheel 🤦♂️ the bendix has a one way gear inside it . Same crap but its the bendix sticking thats what kicks in and out. The one way gear in it releases it the spring is probably weak too but its all one unit just google the issue of a bad bendix it should help.
I just got a 2000 1 grizzly 600 and it keeps throwing a lot of smoke and sometimes it turns off I just change the oil
Also could you add the part numbers for the replacement parts in the description? Thanks man, excellent video
