    Costco has these for 499.00 right now. but damn... the cost per month is brutal. i wouldn't use it that much, my trailer sits at my river lot for 6 months of the year but we don't go up that much. sure would be nice to have internet but i wish there was a less expensive option!

    • @OurCrazyRV
      @OurCrazyRV 10 днів тому

      I agree the cost per month is really high. We see it as a necessary business expense and has worked well in areas with poor cell coverage.

    I have given up on hiking in Manitoba. Awful, unmaintained trials, bears, bugs and views to sigh for. I’m throwing in the towel. There’s no excuse for a national park to be in this poor of a state. It’s a joke.

    • @OurCrazyRV
      @OurCrazyRV 24 дні тому

      Some of the trails are not maintained like they should. Others are good and I really like, but I agree that it would be nice if they did a more consistent job of it.

    Brake cleaning fluid cleans the seals also

      Interesting, that would make sense. I imagine brake cleaner would also be hard on the rubber roof membrane so you would not want to let it sit on the rubber roof. Would I be correct in saying that?

    What if the door lock is broken and you can’t open the door?

    • @OurCrazyRV
      @OurCrazyRV 2 місяці тому

      If you cannot get into your camper via the door, we have taken windows apart, etc to gain access to a camper. Then you take the door lock apart from the inside. You can then use a screw driver to move the mechanism from the inside and open the door and then take it apart.

    drop 60K on a camper, and this is the garbage finish they use for the roof. not criticizing the application, criticizing the industry standard. I can go in a 1970's school bus, or in a 10K enclosed landscaping trailer and find better quality that will last without leaking. The industry needs to do better

    • @OurCrazyRV
      @OurCrazyRV 5 місяців тому

      +@jaym6106 That is an excellent point. The only reason I can think is maybe for weight reasons or maybe rubber roofs are way cheaper to make and you make more off repairing them?

      @OurCrazyRV it's changed a lot, but it's also the same. It looks great! The plane in the playground was there in the 80s! It would get so hot in July that we couldn't climb on it or we'd get burned! I'm hoping to road trip there with my partner so I can show him how simple and fun it was. One needs to find out where they are coming in from the outside and close up those areas there .closing the ones inside they will just find another area to pop in once inside .But filling the holes they get in from the outside ,this is key to ending your problem .The mice will just leave .They wont find another way to get in .The fact you plugged there entry spooks them 😮so they leave .

      +IN GOD WE TRUST It depends on your RV setup. It would be work but I would follow your oven down and trace back all the lines. If possible you could pull the oven out. Most likely they are in your oven insulation and that’s the last thing you want to cook with.

  • @cpfpv6410
    @cpfpv6410 10 місяців тому

    They will still get into the walls and urinate and defecate in the room and ceiling!!! You also need to address where they get in from outside. A mint oil spray on the tires and landing feet can be a big help to steer them away but needs frequent reapplication

    • @OurCrazyRV
      @OurCrazyRV 9 місяців тому

      +CP FPV thanks for the tips on mint oil and I agree with you that it doesn’t keep them out of the walls, but if you have a giant hole on the inside I think that is still worth sealing.
