I literally stumbled onto this channel and this specific episode and I almost bypassed it but thank God I listened to the prompting of the Holy Spirit! So many nuggets from your amazing guest. May she continue to live out her purpose and trust that there’s so much more in store for her! Please pray for me that I’ll surrender my entire life to God. I’ve recently gone through grief and loss and I’ve found that with this has brought with it some anxiety and worry about the future…..I’ll appreciate your prayers!!

Thank you so much for this podcast❤️🙏I never knew my Grandpa on my dad's side of the family but I was told that he was a drunk and that my dad did not get along with him, which can help me understand why he wasn't the best dad at times but he tried his best. Due to a lack of spiritual guidance, my dad didn't fully understand what it is to be a dad but I'm so grateful that I now know my true Father in heaven ever since I got baptized at Calvary who gives me so much joy and peace and love❤️🙏 Forgiveness is not an occasional act, it is a permanent attitude - Martin Luther King Jr

So important to understand why the other person may be how they are; their own traumas etc. It is difficult but gives some understanding and makes it easier in the forgiveness process.

“Daddy issues” is still a term idk if I deal with. My father was never there so I don’t know what I would’ve been missing. I don’t remember looking at kids with their dads and wondering how that felt. From what I was told about my dad, I don’t think he would’ve been a good role model. We didn’t really connect until I was an adult.
Forgiveness was definitely hard for me because my dad wanted me to apologize and I too was like “for what” but then he got sick and I was the only child that made sure he had what he needed then a few years later, he passed during a time when we weren’t speaking to each other again. That ripped me apart 😩

This has been so helpful my mom kept and still calls me Gorda all in a bad way . But now it doesn't bother me anymore. I am healthy. If I don't fit her standards, it is not me.
This is so beautiful. I knew this woman as a young girl. her mom and her siblings and I am just blown away by her beautiful testimony. I’m so proud of her and I’m so glad that I got to hear this. As I told someone recently, the words that keep ringing in my ears are, wait I say that on the Lord, for His perfect will to be accomplished . Women like Ketsia are an inspiration. He is more than enough He makes no mistakes. ❤ Love you Ketsia. Your amazing faith has inspired me to keep pressing into Jesus to keep trusting in his word, and his faithfulness, and his plans! Lord God, I believe you gave her these desires, and I pray that you would give her the desires of her heart as she continues to trust in you, and be obedient to you!!!

Your story is truly inspirational and I can relate because my father had a difficult upbringing and to this day, it's hard for him to tell me that he loves me even though I know that he does.
