These are simply superb little unassuming yet supremely capable vehicles. I love them. They are the essence of the go anywhere no frills transport. I have owned and loved 5 Gypsys (as these are called in India), over the last 3 decades and now own the latest gen 5 door Jimny. These cars are just perfect.

That is a dope video on the Suzuki Jimny. And a good documentary.

Just got an imported 1997 JA22 Fishing Master edition a few days ago (I'm in Canada). The seatbelt retractor is seized, so I can't really drive it right now, but it truly is a beauty, and unique even among the other Jimnys, since it's purely JDM and it was essentially a 2nd generation Jimny on a 3rd generation suspension.

I have owned Range Rover, Toyota Hi-Lux, Jimny,Jeep Wrangler,Jimny & am off to buy another Jimny....they are awesome little beasts

This Japanese Jeep can be well made and with a lot of quality in first world countries, but here in South America it's rubbish, it sucks too much trouble and the factory does not have spare parts, those who buy this car have problems for life

47 years of jimny and 32 years of Maruti gypsy and still in production in India (2nd generation).Such a nimble yet capable Offroader. This little offroader has won many rallies in extreme category and won RFC india challange this year.
