Wilco's "Impossible Germany" on Custom Oak Hohner Whammy Clavinet & Wurlitzer 214
We took some of Nels Cline's fantastic solo from Wilco's "Impossible Germany" and put it to our recent custom Hohner Clavinet. The chording was handled on a freshly restored Wurlitzer 214.
Nels Cline's incredible vibrato-centric playing made us wonder about how fitting the Whammy Clavinet could be to handle these licks, we found it worked wonderfully! And was a lot of fun to boot.

Earlier this year Megan Stagl visited our workshop and wowed us all with this intimate piano and vocal performance of Chick Corea's classic "Spain". Megan is playing a Yamaha CP80 that has been completely overhauled inside and out, featuring forest green tolex, bronze hardware and a stunning bronze tinted plexiglass top. It is now residing in the home studio of Ryan Lewis.

just bought one of these and noticed my tone is a bit off, any tips on getting that same clean, warm tone ?
Look at the electrical components within your Rhodes, could be as simple as needing a new preamp or wire soldered. You could also look into external preamps that can be used in signal chain with the Rhodes

one of my favorite keyboards to play. this and some sweet trem from a fender twin is bliss
don't even get me started on if u run it thru a Leslie cab. when you hit those chords and switch from ensemble to chorus and hear those horns spin down... i gotta get back in the studio...

Hans Dieter Hüsch nutzte so eine Orgel auf seiner Bühne als Tisch.... ab und zu spielte er auch darauf. Ich kannte einen Musiker, der nutzte die Orgel zum Komponieren, da sie eben gut als Tisch zu nutzen war....

Get a 4 track cassette recorder with 3 speed settings, record a full cover of that song on the fast setting, pitch it up a tiny bit, and release it. It'll sound like a nostalgic lost recording from a long lost era.
