In my latest adventure I head back to central PA for some summer trout fishing with OTCF east. We managed to catch some trout despite the high temps and being limited to early morning and evening fishing. It’s not always about how many fish you catch. Having a good time Living the adventure with cousin Rocky is always a win. Boom!!

On my latest adventure I head back to Central PA for some kayaking and fishing. My expert guide, fisherman and fly tyer Rocco, guides us down Bald Eagle Creek on a half day trip. Along the way we catch some smallmouth bass and Pennsylvania Tarpon and take in some beautiful scenery.

In our latest adventure we head back to a very productive spot on a tributary of the Grand River. Once again we weren’t let down. The majority of the trout were caught on nymphs, perdigons and a few on jig streamers.

The latest addition to the OTCF crew. Buddy 3 month old golden retriever. Looking forward to bringing Buddy along to live and assist with the adventure.

Another video from the vault. Highlights from the spring 2021 Turkey hunt on Bald Eagle Mountain in central Pennsylvania. Along the way we encountered a Black Bear cub. We didn’t get a Turkey but had a helluva adventure.

While fishing the Muskegon River with my Chuck & Duck rig using an egg as point fly and Pheasant tail dropper I managed to catch two Brown Trout simultaneously.

Fishing The Muskegon river late in the day, I hooked this big Buck steelhead. I was fishing my chuck and duck rig with an orange egg as my point fly. It was a fun battle while it lasted.

“OTCF” West heads to Pennsylvania to join up with “OTCF” East for an action packed weekend of Trout fishing in central PA. While “Off The Creek” we enjoy the NCAA wrestling Finals, good brews and good food. Especially the home made ravioli and sauce. The “OTCF” crew heads back to central PA for some Trout fishing. While cousin Rocky was landing a nice Rainbow Trout an eagle decided it wanted to do some fishing with us. Look closely to the left of the video.

This one is from the OTCF vault. Late April 2023. The trout weren’t biting so I decided to try my ultra light spinning rod and reel using a Rapala and got into some nice Lake run Smallmouth Bass.

Opening day 2024 for the “On The Creek Crew”. We head to northwest Michigan area targeting Steelhead and Brown Trout. The weather wasn’t the best. Air temp was in the mid 30s, water temp 34 degrees. and high water. No matter the conditions it was time to get out there and live the adventure. We didn’t get into any Steelhead but we caught a few Brown and Rainbow a trout.

This video is the first in a series of old video I plan to release periodically. This particular video was shot on the Sable and Pere Marquette rivers in Northwest Michigan, dating back to October 1993. The footage is from a fishing trip for Salmon and Steelhead with Dad and me.
