These plants grow best in low to medium light, though they also thrive in a sunny window if the light is filtered with a sheer curtain. If they get too much hot sun, even indoors, the leaves may burn, turning brown and crispy. Water nerve plant when the soil surface just barely starts to dry. This houseplant likes somewhat moist (but not wet, soggy) soil. They are tropical so they like high hum...

Simple Flower Arranging: Asiatic Lilies, hydrangea and monstera leaves
I have had mine for 5+ years and she grew SO MUCH since I got her, but lately shes been struggling. She’ll look thirsty (leaves are curled) but when I water her all of her stems start to droop 😢 I just repotted her this year so I don’t think that’s the issue, do you think it’s just time to prune some of her stems? I’ve been researching how to propagate but always get so nervous that the babies won’t last… however, I will do the big chop if that’s what she needs!
Just bought 4 bromeliads for less than $4 each at my Mariano's in Chicago. I know nothing about them, but have started my research and yours is by far the best video I've found: short and to the point. Thanks for your excellent video! Wish me luck with my 4 beauties :)
My GF loves toffee roses but aren't they from south America and only a few companies sell them? I need some now!
Yes, so about 80% of the Roses sold in the US are grown in South America. The toffee is still a newer breed grown that they aren't as readily avaiable as a tradional red rose, but most florists can still get them in if you allow enough time to order.
I have this one but she refuses to grow 😫
might be time to upgrade her to a larger pot. Go up in pot size by about 1"-2" and see if that helps
What kind of feeding do they need once a month?
You can find plant food that is made specifically for african violets. Really helps if you struggle to get them to rebloom
Love this!
Simple but so beautiful.
I have a big Dracaena Marginata Kiwi and one of the stems is getting wrinkled. What could this mean?
What about when the stem gets rotten?
I came for the arrangement but this woman is as beautiful as the flowers ❤
Hi I like it so good Yar
Nice flower arrangement tips!
He is just too adorable. 🥰
You're awesome
What kind of clear tape are you using to bind the callas together?
Strelitzia Regina, Crane flower, Birds of Paradise come from South Africa, we are very proud of them!
Nice! We grow those at our farm in Puerto Rico. Cool to see how florists use them!
Very good info Sarah. I love African violets along with my Anthurium. They both have very pretty blooms.❤❤
Can I use water not from faucet or purifier
It's interesting how it went into a nice spiral. I'm just not sure on one thing, did you say to line up the heads or the bottom of the stems? I watched it twice but I guess it went over my head. Thank you in advance.
line the heads up :)
It is only my opinion, that broad leaf, looks out of place. To me it takes away from the flowers
Thank you for sharing simple and beautiful 😍
You could thatch a roof with that leather leaf…
هل هاذا الورد صناعي او طبيعي؟
When I saw the thumbnail I thought you were Princess Diana.
ha! I'll take that compliment. Thank you!
So nice ti see you beautiful! Considering working with flowers one day .. And Yes thank u for the tips ♥️🕊🎶🌸
Thank you!
Please get to the point.
the point is to stop and smell the roses :) or carnations in this example
Pollen tip take a piece of clear nailing tape amd push down on the pollen and lift off. Keep doing this until all the pollen is off.
Hello fellow illinoisian!! I'm brand new to the floral industry and trying to learn as much as I can. Your videos are fantastic.
Thank you! Welcome to the floral industry. We're a bunch of weirdos.. glad you're here :)
Loved it. Many thanks. Please do show an arrangement with the tropical hanging claws. Thanks 💐
Love the way you explain. Many thanks 💐
Thanku so much ❤. Plz make some more videos on calathea orbifolia.
Thank you for the tips. I think I took mine out of her pot too early. Now she's in a porcelain pot but I know I need one like the kind you have in this video. Should I get a new one? Also, I had her under a grow lamp and the edges of her leaves burned. I don't know what to do now. She's growing in such a tangled way. I don't know how far or close to place her from the lamp. She's in a west facing window right now, so the sun is bright but it's not direct. What should I do? I want her to thrive but I don't think she's doing too well.
Hey! Sounds like the lamp is giving her too much light and burning the leaves. I would just keep her in your west facing window without the lamp and see how she does for a bit. A porcelain pot is fine, but it should have a drainage hole. If you dont have a drainage hole I would recommend repoting her into one that does. Sometimes if they get tangled I will add extra support by place chopsticks next to the plant and loosely tying them onto it. They also will bend toward the light so rotating them every week is a good idea. Hope that helps!
@@MainStreetFloristCarlinvilleIL thank you for your help! I moved her out of the grow light and noticed her roots were exposed, so I fixed her up. I have her in a north facing window right now where she’s able to get bright light but it’s obscured by an awning and lattice canopy, so it’s not direct.
@@bronxkies That should be perfect!
Nice

Very impressive stuff. This looks so so beautiful. New friend here. Stay connected.
Simple but Gorgeous 🤩
Beautiful arrangement ❣️ A new Subscriber here 👍
Great tips 👌
Merci ❤❤❤
I just can’t love them. They look like paper flowers. Might just be our supplier but they look like wrinkly paper flowers.
Why is it that stock tips bend and is there any way to prevent them from doing that ?
Often it happens when they are drinking up water but not supported. Try letter them dehydrate a bit so the they soften up, wrap the bunch of them tightly in paper then place in water to drink.
I think I’ll check Trader Joe’s to see if I can find similar flowers to make this arrangement.
such a simple yet beautiful design, I can't wait to try this myself!
That is gorgeous. I have hydrangea growing in big pots but it is winter here in Australia so now I must wait until summer for my next flowering of these beautiful flowers.
love this! Will try when xmas comes around again!
that looks so pretty!!
thank you, so helpful for this beginner!
