Diamond in the Rough
Our cat Diamond was terrorized by a rabid dog and had t be rescued from a tree on May 7th 2011. It was a horrifying and humiliating experience. She's ok, and all that's hurt now is her pride. PLEASE don't let this happen to YOUR cat!

Amazing job Very gifted 👍
As a person who lives in fort Kent this is awesome to know!!! Great work chad
My Family on my Fathers side is from FT Kent Elbridge Daigle and Noella Charette (Daigle). Wish I knew more about thier ancestors.
Since you are a history buff, I believe you should research deeper into the past. Of course, I could point out a lot more information that might make your mouth drop.
I also saw those ladies supporting Trump for Susan Collins by the roadside in Fort Kent last week past McDonalds and before the U.S./Canadian Border. I think there is much they don't know that is kept hidden from us all. Oh...my direct ancestor is one of the reasons why we all have a U.S. 1st Amendment as previously mentioned. Rev. George Wightman is my direct ancestor as well as Edward Wightman. As far as his brother's wife, Susannah Holmes, the great grand daughter of Roger Williams (1636), Susannah was also the grand daughter of Obediah Holmes (Encyclopedia) who President Abe Lincoln fell under except Abe Lincoln fell under Sarah Bowne, Susannah's 1st cousin and Abe Lincoln's 6th generational grandmother. My ancestry is certified by a "Certified Genealogist" from The Fellow American Society of Genealogists from Providence, Rhode Island. Besides, I have records on who my ancestors were right in front of me.
Oh....I live in Van Buren, Maine, and you should realize that President Jimmy Carter wrote about Baron Lionel Walter Rothschild who signed The Balfour Declaration of November, 1917 which led to the re-establishment of Israel in 1948 through his book, "Palestine Peace Not Apartheid." Lord Jacob Rothschild gave an interview on UA-cam about his family's involvement in restoring Israel in Palestine. Also, Forbes Magazine reported that Trump's right hand man, Wilbur Ross, worked as a chairman for The Rothschild Bankers out of New York. The L.A. Times reported that Wilbur Ross is the one that bailed Trump our of debt. Also, prior to that, The NY Times reported on Baroness Lynn Forester de Rothschild who funded Hillary Clinton and Sen. John McCain's Campaigns. Oh....I live in Van Buren, ME, and there is a lot I know from researching. I lot more than I just mentioned. www.history.com/topics/reformation/roger-williams www.history.com/topics/colonial-america/mayflower abcconn.org/history/index.php?title=Valentine_Wightman en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reformation www.britannica.com/event/Reformation www.history.com/topics/reformation/reformation www.britannica.com/topic/Protestantism en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Wightman www.britannica.com/topic/burning-at-the-stake www.history.com/news/henry-viii-divorce-reformation-catholic-church www.britannica.com/biography/Martin-Luther www.britannica.com/biography/William-Tyndale www.history.com/news/henry-viii-divorce-reformation-catholic-church Library of Congress: www.loc.gov/loc/lcib/9806/danbury.html www.britannica.com/topic/The-Founding-Fathers-Deism-and-Christianity-1272214 www.ouramericanrevolution.org/index.cfm/page/view/p0155 www.ouramericanrevolution.org/index.cfm/page/view/p0155 www.loc.gov/exhibits/religion/rel01.html
Of course, you are a Pelletier. There were Pelletiers that fought for Napoleon during The French Indian Wars as well as past battles against The British. Of course, if not for The French supplying munitions during The American Revolution, our U.S. Founding Fathers would have never won The American Revolution even though the did back down in helping to retake Newport, Rhode Island from The British when Newport, RI was occupied by The British. Of course, The Battle of Waterloo was the last battle between France and The British. Have you ever asked, "Why the province of Quebec wants to separate from the rest of Canada through Quebec's Sovereignty Movement?" Do you know the reason?
Has anyone heard of Savage Men's Clothing Store on Main St. Ft. Kent I think it was my Grandfather's, he died before I was born, I heard stories but don't know for sure. My dads name was Norman Savage, I have a lot of questions now that I wish I spoke to him about before he passed away in 2006. We moved to Connecticut around 1963 and went back every year till about 1975. Last time I was there was in the mid 80s when my Grandmother passed. I'm 63 now and hope to make it back at least one more time. Maybe the Rocks Motel is still open, they had a good burger and fries and then I remember across the boarder I think it was called The Maple Leaf they had great chicken and the best dip to dip the chicken in.
@@GregSavage-ld6gh I don't know anyone from Fort Kent except my dad's cousin who lived there years ago. Roger Nadeau. Nadeau Poultry Farm was from St. Francis, NB. My dad's friend drove Semi for them, Dallard something his name was.. He died though. Can't remember his last name. I met a trucker from St. Francis, NB also who knew Dallard, and I was in Idaho at The Ranchhand Truckstop when I was stuck there waiting for my trainer who took a little vacation. I had just started my first job as a trucker for CR England based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Maple Leaf Bologna is the best!!!
In 1838-9, it was called The Aroostook War, and that was The United States against The British. Of course, before that was The War of 1812 when The British burned down The White House, and France lost Canada to The British after The Battle of Quebec in 1759 and Treaty of Paris in 1763. Of course, France also lost their own country after The Battle of Waterloo in Belgium in 1815. 12 years after The Battle of Waterloo, France became an ally of The British at The Battle of Navarino, or was that perhaps due to Mayer Amchel Rothschild's son, Nathaniel Rothschild, as depicted in the movie, 'The House of Rothschild" from 1934 who connived his way into winning the bid on the loan for The Reparations of France after The Battle of Waterloo with Napoleon? It is mentioned in The Jewish Encyclopedia, Vol. 10, page 490, that Mayer Amcshel Rothschild was an agent of Prince William Landgrave IX of Hesse Cassel (Cassel sometimes spelled with a "K") out of Germany who funded British Troops against The American Revolution. Also, it is mentioned in The Journals of The House of Commons, Vol. 23, published in 1803 as well as Wikipedia that Prince William Landgrave The IX's father, Frederick The II, married Princess Mary, the daughter of King George The II. Of course, you should recall that our U.S. Founding Fathers fought against King George The III from Great Britain during The American Revolution. The Rothschild Bankers worked their way back into The United States through August Belmont (Encyclopedia Britannica). Should I point out a lot more? Oh....I'm a direct descendant of Rev. George Wightman, brother of Rev. Valentine Wightman who married Susannah Holmes, daughter of Mary Holmes, daughter of Mary Sayles, daughter of Roger Williams (Encyclopedia 1636) who was a Puritan like Puritans on The Mayflower (1620) whom were also called "Separatists" after The Reformation of Church Denominations (Reformation / Britannica). Baptists, Amish, Puritans, Lutherans, along with many other church denominations falls under Protestantism (Protestantism / Britannica). Funny that Britannica mentions that Protestants were against The Church of England founded by King Henry The VIII, yet they fail to mention that Protestants also stood against The Roman Catholic Church as well during The European Persecutions in the time of The Reformation. There are past battles between Protestants and Catholics mentioned through The Encyclopedia Britannica and History Dot Com between The 1500s and The American Revolution. Martin Luther (Encyclopedia) was a Protestant Leader who founded Lutheranism whom was also the first to translate The New Testament into The German Language. John Calvin (Encyclopedia) was another Protestant Leader who founded Calvanism. William Tyndale (Encyclopedia) was also a Protestant Leader who was the first to translate The New Testament into The English Language. The Bishop (Pope) at the time didn't like William's translation, and William was eventually burned at the stake in England. Many were persecuted during The Reformation, and the last man burned at the stake in England was Edward Wightman (Encyclopedia). Rev. Valentine Wightman, buried in The Wightman Cemetery in Groton, CT, as well as his brother Rev. George Wightman were both descendants of Edward Wightman. Like Edward Wightman and William Tyndale, Roger Williams was also persecuted. That is the reason why he came out with "The Separation of Church & State" which transcended down into our U.S. 1st Amendment through Thomas Jefferson (Source: Library of Congress or loc.gov under "A Wall of Separation") which later took place in Danbury, CT between Baptists and Thomas Jefferson. There was also another one of our U.S. Founding Fathers who was present at that meeting. Can you name which one?
Johnathan Edwards ?
Born there in 1936; moved to Caribou in 1949. I will always remember Fort Kent with much fondness.
