Maybe if she had switched her gender she would've been a happier person? Apparently that is the reality we live in. No one gives two shits about the influences young people are faced with which often lead to such self destruction. Shows like this celebrate what is causing so much pain out there.

I was a drug addict. For about 6 years. My parents left me. It’s been 8 years now and no phone call or text. They never showed up to my wedding or the birth of my son Jacob. I’ve been sober for a year now. My husband Tom was an addict too. His parents did the same thing like mines.

One of the finest tv show with extraordinary performances, music and cinematography, its so realistic, raw and intense. Zendaya is an incredible actor.

How peolpe will every say rues addiction is glorified is beyond me. I mean I don't think a single kid// person watching this is going to see all the shit Rue dose to her family and go "Oh yes drugs look great and addiction is not bad" I mean she literally threated her mom with a peace of broken glass. I'm sure their is flaws in the depiction of addiction (as there is in everything) but it sure as hell is not glorifying Rue's addiction.
