What are the audio ports on the back even for? What situation would you be able to use them?
I just connect my soundbar to the fire stick that is plugged in via bluetooth. No wires. No extra$$$
Thank you so so much!! I have been trying to figure this out. I only wish I had found it sooner. Lol.
I have the exact setup but my issue is, my soundbar is outputing audio but the projector speakers are outputing audio aswell. How do I turn projector speaks off and just keep the soundbar audio on.
You can just plug in a Roku Soundbar
But a chromecast, fire stick, etc needs a usb for power.
Great help! Thank You!
That's cool. My receiver is Bluetooth and so is my mini desktop, laptop so

Thank you Gordon for making this video👍
Thank you so much dude this saved me from hours of frustration 😭
This helped a lot! Thanks
Thanks this video was helpful I ordered everything on Amazon I will write back with my experience guys any body have any luck ?
see my problem is my sound bar only has an hdmi (arc) port and thats it
Why not just run a long hdmi from the hdmi arc port on the sound bar to the hdmi port on the projector then it will just be 1 wire rather that 2-3
I tried that but then I have two HDMI's in the projector, one for the sound bar and one for the tv box so the source search only goes to the tv one and says "no signal" on HDMI two source, or am I doing it wrong ?
Thank you!!!!! I’ve been looking for help and I couldn’t find anything either. Thank you!!!!
Thank you!!!
thank you for this info!
i will never buy Epson again for this reason. Why cant it simply work with my wireless speakers? Do they think ANYONE will be happy with 2w speakers? or better yet why doesnt Epson simply maje a speaker option set so i dont have to do these silly work arounds grrrr.
oh this is amazing thx so much!! ive been at wits end to do this
I’ve got sound now but no video lol
how do you connect it if your projector is behind you and your surround sound at the front of the room?
Can’t find anything on this question anywhere

Although I did not hook up a soundbar, I was hooking up my speakers, still worked great. Would have been nice to see you actually hook the cords to the projector for us visual people but thanks.
Thank you!! This helped a lot and saved me some big money 🤓
Thank you sir!
Thanks Been struggling with this ,I tried using those red, yellow, white pins they didn't work I will try this
I don’t get it which hdmi out? Cable goes back out of the black box
Do you know how to fix a issue with the Apple TV signal not showing up. I have everything connected and when I move the buttons around I hear it on my soundbar but have no hdmi signal.
Bro....I will try that..Thank you!!!
Thank you for posting. Agree, not a lot of resources on this and the Bluetooth dongle suggested by Epson is a waste of time/money. I've been fighting running cord and trying to make this system wireless, but I'm ready for sound and optical cable run through this converter seems like the best bet for now.
What dongle did epson suggest?
