The intent for my channel is to bring handyman and DIY content that’s easy to follow and understand.
My passion is tinkering in my shed so you can expect to see anything from motorcycle and lawnmower repair, welding to carpentry and home maintenance.
My goal is to help people. If you can learn just one thing from my videos that will help you, then I have succeeded.

CV Joint Boot Replacement. Mitsubishi Triton

CV joint boots can become hard over time and crack exposing the CV joint to contaminants that can result in premature wear of the joint. In todays video we replace the CV joint boots on a 2009, Mitsubishi Triton.

Hi, General hand tools. The only specialised tools would have been the torque wrench and impact gun. 32MM socket for the axle nut. I try to keep it simple so anyone can do it. I hope this helps?. Regards, MiMshed.

Cool. My 2003 Montero Limiteds (3 of them) are exactly the same. I've replaced the driver/left side CV axle on one. Now my passenger side is bad on another. The boots seem to fail before the bearings go. Usually the contamination ruins the bearings unless caught quickly. GSP brand sells them for $61 to $76, depending on the side. Lifetime Warranty. Ama zon. Do not order them from Detroit Axle (Ama zon & eB ay), as they don't deliver them and it's a hassle to get a refund too!
