I've never paddleboard before. Is it easy or hard to paddleboard in Lake Mead waters? When is the best time to go when water is calmer?

The round thing you saw on the island was just one of the cement mixers for the Hoover dam from the 1930’s. The are supposedly many more in the lake since this was a valley before the dam was built.

Cool paddle, but I don't think I could limbo. Lol

What a fun adventure! It's only 4 hours from where we are. We will have to take the trip. Did you have to make reservations early? I know some Arizona hiking areas require early registration and waitlists.

Jesus paid our fine at the cross. He died for people like you and me. Belief, or faith, or trust is all that’s needed for eternal life! “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭1‬ Justified is a fancy word that means “made innocent”. Our sins are completely forgiven when we repent and trust Jesus alone for salvation. “that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬-‭11‬, ‭13‬ Don’t wait another moment to call on the Lord for salvation. Did you see any turtles in Kahana Bay river?

They are not pineapples, they are called lauhala tree. The leaves are used to make hats, mats, bracelets, baskets. Or Pandanus tree.❤

You could have left the turtle alone. Sheesh.
