The Moses Kotane Local Municipality Chief Whip Cde Lucky Moate briefing on the outcomes of the meeting between ANC Moses Kotane LET, CONTRALESA and The Bakgatla Tribal Authority. The meeting sought to fix the relationship between all the stakeholders as it has been deteriorating over a period of time. The Bakgatla Authority took a resolution at the annual kgothakgothe in Moruleng on the 11 November 2023 that they are not going to allow elections activities in their 32 villages until the revoked certificate of chieftainship of the chief is returned. They accuse the North West government of taking the certificate of Kgosi Nyalala Pilane and handing it to Regent Ramono, whom they say is a resident of Botswana.
