The sad part is that dauntless had so much potential but they fumbled hard. Honestly disappointing. Big franchises need competition or else they get lax (not really monhun they're still putting a bitch ton of effort, but still)

Honestly for me with this game, things that have made it fall off for me is that guns feel weak quite a lot now ever since they added power disabled/minus power which is quite evident when some of the best strats for stuff like GMs is literally poke at range with stuff like Bows, Scouts, and Snipers because get close, get a grave. The main appeal for me was the abilities instead. The thing that got me playing was seeing Tear of Grace play D1 using Stormcaller for the first time. At this point, it has gelt like Bungie has been taking the magic out of the space magic. Golden Gun is meant to be a power house as it was and is still a powerful super mainly with Celestial, Bubble is supposed to be a powerhouse in terms of supportive defence as Titans ARE the wall, and Well should never have received all those nerfs as they took out the support from the support super. It has just felt like Bungie has forgotten what the game even is these days. Less a game to make players happy and want to come back and more just a cash grab trying to force players into playing.

Dauntless is such a tragedy for me, i would play it on days i didnt have access to Monster Hunter World when it was in its prime, used it to survive the content drought after AT Nergigante. I Religiously defended, supported and got freinds who played Monster Hunter to play it and like it. I had all the season exclusive and even once in a lifetime cosmetics like the Portal Entrance gesture from Umbral Escalation event, 3 year anniversary Sword I was there when all 6 Escalations dropped, when every new monster or equipment was added. Every holiday event and every major update. I got top 100 in the Arena to obtain the Champions cosmetics and Golden Crown I solo'd Heroic Escalations every week for nearly 40 weeks to get the Rainbow Crown, i was the textbook definition of a Master Slayer I was even there before Old Ramsgate was destroyed, always standing next to the NPC that was created to pay homage to the person who killed the most Behemoths in Open Beta Now i cant even lift my weapons... Because the weight of grief is beyond strength

sounds like you need to do the rest of the quests in MH worldborne so you can do the 5 monster hunters

Well in MH: Frontier, the asian exclusive spinoff MMO from 2007-2019, which was revived and translated by fans, has a mode called hunters road. This is essentially a boss rush mode which changes the monsters each time you do it. There are infinite floors and you get road points to spend on useful decos etc. It works quite well!

Gotta love how so many people are in a love/hate relationship with the game. Stopped playing after almost 2.7k hours and it still lives rent free in my head (and in 100+ gigs of my hard drive), truly the game of all time.

I don't get it. Bungie antics? I have 2000+ hours into this game and I have only done 2 raids and 5 dungeons. It's the only game I play because I get to hang out with friends ... All I hear is complaining from UA-camrs and their comment sections... When Bungie listens and changes something , the community complains to change it back... When the community complains again, Bungie makes a balanced change and more complaints come forth.

As frustrating as it might be, I feel that a lot of fun stuff we'd like to see in D2 will be there in mobile Destiny. And I'll be so mad at it if I won't be proved wrong, 'cause, man, gacha Destiny sounds like even worse idea than the state of things we already have in D2.

also yes, absolutely agree with basically all ur thoughts. i don't even know what they were thinking with the DCV. cheapskates didnt wanna invest more into making a D3 and instead decided to fuck D2 and any semblance of story continuity or new player experience, not to mention the shit tons of money we've spent on content. fuckin sucks tho, who would've thought destiny would be the ultimate destiny killer in the end. for shame.

ALSO I don't know what it is about the gunplay, maybe it's the size of the character relative to the crosshair, or the sound, but the FEEL of all the weapons in the game is so smooth that a lot of other FPS games are unpleasant
