The video was a nice tribute to the pride of the Norfolk & Western! I've heard of songs about UP Big Boy 4014 ("Roll on Big Boy") and UP 844 ("The Living Legend"), but not one on N&W 611!

This video was, not only a great tribute to the coal trains of the N&W, but a great tribute to the heavy-weight champions of the railroad.

You know, here in Brazil, in the 1940's, there was a big train accident. The train was running late and going down hill. To try to make up time, the driver put the regulator on it's maximum. I'm sorry to say that they didn't make past the curve at the bottom. Around 100 people died and many were injured. They say that on stormy afternoons, you can hear the shrill whistle and the sound of the crash all around the valley
