If that porch light is shining ANYWHERE close to that timer plug in, IT WILL NOT WORK......turn yo porch lights off....must be dark to work at all times....that's what the photoeye is for, to see light or dark to tell the thing to come on or shutoff

Completly agree, a few months after this video we got rid of it. Our Dealer said the newer versions are much better as they worked out some of the bugs.

The timer is getting too much light. Either from the porch light or from the Christmas lights themselves. Try turning it around so it doesn’t get any light or moving it to a dark location. Let me know if that helps.

Have you checked to make sure there is power at the outlet. I would try plugging something in to make sure (not the lights). if no power it could be a tripped gfci or breaker. if you do have power, plug in the lights directly and see if they come on. if they do then its probably the timer. If they dont then there is something wrong in the strand itself.

Hi Javier, It will turn on when it gets dark enough,and will stay on for 6 hours. It just depends on when it gets dark enough to trigger it.
