I love it, been sewing with it ever since I bought it. I don't know a lot about sewing machines, so I don't know what's out there. But I do know sailrite has great customer service.

The machine itself is very nice. It's doing what I need it to do, which is sew up some boat skins

Let me know if you find a fix. It still works, just takes a few minutes for it to start

Mine has not done it in a very long time. I use to pull the panel out, push the pins in the connectors, reconnect it, and it's been working since then

@@brentdawson242 I read that in another forum. I disconnected the battery, then the HVAC panel and unplugged it and plugged it back in and it worked. Weird type of reset. Thanks for posting and the for the fast response.

It’s possible, but it needs to be dry. I had 33’s the first time. Now I have 35’s, front lunchbox locker, Dana 44 lsd rear, with 4.56 gears. 2.5 inch lift. I’ve done all of it in my sport.

@@brentdawson242 I have a similar set up in my JL, rear 44 LSD, 2.5 lift, 35s, added some skid plates, stock gears though (3.45 I think) How do you like the lunchbox up front? That’s something I’ve been reading up on but haven’t decided yet

@1870offroad lunchbox is great!!! Works fantastic, for me. Some people love em, others hate them. It's always awesome to have electronic lockers, but they're expensive. It clicks when you turn really sharp at very slow speeds. I know, if I'm stuck, when I put that jeep in 4x4, it's gonna go.

@1870offroad get 4.56 or 4.11 gears. Best update I've ever done. I pull a small off road camper and my boat. Best mpg is 23 with my current setup.

@@brentdawson242 that’s the logic I’m going with too. The Dana 30s up from are much improved but they’re still smaller and I don’t want to put lockers and all the associated expenses into that axle. Dynatracs and air lockers are a very expensive upgrade. I figured the lunch box would be manageable, with FAD in 2wd I shouldn’t even notice it. But It’s there in 4wd if needed

Did you figure out what yours was doing

Rings and one lobe on the camshaft was wore off

Had to pull the engine. Honed the cylinders, replaced the rings, had a bad lobe on the camshaft and possibly had oil being sucked up from the oil Valley into the intake ports from a mismatched intake gasket

@@bryantbaker3732 if I did it, it would have 1k. I paid a guy because of time. It was 1700.00

there are kits available to where all you need is a drill press or hand drill
