There’s something so wonderful about watching this. It’s like it brings back an era that’s been long forgotten. It also just makes me forget about everything that’s going on in the world and it puts a smile on my face and brings me joy. That’s all we want isn’t it is to just feel joyful and to be happy.
I like the Tony Awards version better.
This is from the filmed performance
For me a Special, every time I See Indie
They all deserve the applause!!
Every time I watch this I can't help smiling and tapping my feet. This was a real treat to chase away the blues.
I've seen the rehearsal video, but the live version is WOW!
Had the pleasure of seeing this live at the Barbican, even better live , absolutely brilliant.
Buen número, pero está claro que como la protagonista no tiene busto exigieron que las bailarinas tuvieran menos que ella. El número es casi tan bueno como el comienzo de "Indiana Jones y el Templo Maldito".
These guys never miss even a single momentary opportunity to be funny. Little things like Gilliam’s smirk when he stands by the chair or the demonstrators’ silly walk in unison. Literally, “never a dull moment.”
Sutton and team killed it dead!
There's something gorgeous about talented people who love what they do and can perform at this level. Bravo.
Amazing!
damn! they performed the hell out of that! 🏆🏆🏆💫💫💫🔥🔥🔥💯
Ikr? Smokin 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Nice video it was funny, i watched it with my class!😝
How Graham Chapman keeps a straight face we will never know!
Es un artista ese niño sin duda
I wake up every morning with a smile upon my face. My natural exuberance spills out all over the place. 😄
love that man...
tornado?
Superbe
Superb !
Been looking for this for ages. I’ve got it on a 45 !! Different version but still the same song !!
Yes, took me a while to find it. Very pleased when I did. And thanks for your comment.
Haven’t seen pie throwing done so accurately since ‘The Three Stooges’.
On the subject a lot of the comedy here is the classic slapstick Vaudville style. They were channeling the Stooges hard here.
... somewhere in the city-state of Ankh Morpork a lecturer in the Guild of Clowns and Joculator's is preparing a lecture that is very similar to this ...
🏃 P R O M O S M
Dang, these guys are just true specialists and highly skilled professionals.
I concur.
Don't try this at home, folks
The clinically precise prat falls might be my favorite thing about this. The gent on the right side falling forward just looks like Crossfitters getting down into a burpee.
💗💗😍😍💕💕
Crap
"jokes were invented in the 14th century" is the most hilariously british shit ive ever heard
The crowd was so fucking garbage on that recording. Constant yelling and interrupting by clearly drug guys.
Man had a banana peel in his shirt half the time😆
It sounds like a college thesis paper!
Anthologie !
Bit dry. The pie I mean.
Yeah, but pleasingly sticky
This is great! Except for the apparent pig slaughter in the audience, by the sound of it.
fun random fact: bananas are from SE Asia, not Africa :P
shaun
Now I know what funny is!
I needed this today. For once I'll say.... "Thanks YT al go rhythm!"
So, which Python(s) wrote this?
Had to be Chapman
So THIS is where the banana joke comes from! History is amazing!
Thanks! I needed that!
For the ‘surprise’ I thought Gilliam was going to get the back of his head
Quite the annoying audience
It's so stupid it's so funny
Genius. What is that screaming women in the audience?
It's your standard woman in the audience screaming. Page one in the textbook of comedy explicitly states that every performance have to have at least one.
now is that just american rules ?
@@petosorus The Americans invented the laugh track, and all was good.
Our middle school science teachers did this during the school talent show in 1988. ... I'm so old.
How have I never seen this? Reminds me of Live at the Hollywood Bowl.
That's because it is.
@@misterprecocious2491What?! I don't remember this sketch when I watched it. Interesting.
