Christmas Eve house tour 2023
A quick tour of the house on a warm Christmas Eve 2023. Having a small get together with the neighbors to celebrate the feast of the 7 fishes. Merry Christmas!

Looks like a baby D11 😢
I have put many hours on a unit just like it at a small landfill 🇺🇸
Buena la instrucción,equipoelectrico o electrónico para trabajo suave y terreno.
Love the finger control. Prefer it over the newer modern controls.
Can you push one paddle forward and pull the other one back to make them turn/spin on the spot, or can you only pull the one paddle back witch just allows the machine to screw it’s self around on one track.
Hello, luckfavorstheprep. You, Sir, are damned dangerous. I don't know if you understand the FULL function of the steering control levers or not but, IF you do, you 'shure-azz-ell' didn't mention it. These tractors have what is known as 'clutch-and-brake' steering. Those two levers have TWO functions. The first part of the movement, about 1/2 way, releases a steering clutch on whichever side the lever was pulled. The 2nd half of the movement actuates the steering brake on the same side. The reason why the tractor takes off going downhill when you pull BOTH levers 1/2 way back is 'coz you have released BOTH steering clutches and totally disconnected the engine/transmission/bevel gears from the tracks, completely removing any control that the engine and transmission have over the the rest of the machine. UTTER STYOOOPIDDITY. May I suggest that in future, UNLESS you FULLY understand what you are talking about, you don't try to tell anybody else how to do anything? Just my 0.02. You have yourself a wonderful delusion. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
I have ran dozers for over 40 years. I never liked the paddle steering. Hydrostatic was nice though easier for me to control. Some operators loved the paddles just not me.
That is a good one ! Is that a rooster ?
Como se desmonta el enfriador de agua del d5m
Love the D5M ran them for years
I prefer the finger control over the D6 control
I do think the old throttle lever on the dash is nice. Modern machines is a just a push button to turn throttle on.
Ola cuál es el precio de ese trator
What was the operator thinking? Lol
I know his dad didn't teach him that. !
Wow ! Is that hard water !
No rocks in that soil. ?
Very interesting, big machines, safety first !
Is that you Bob. ?
Holy crap!! Gonna have to excavate around that thing to pull it out lol
Thats looks like a WM equip #
Good eye!
They are the nicest to use when u get used to them i have spend 50 plus hours over 2 weeks learning these control's and i think they are my favorite by far
I have one
There is a method of steering on a downhill slope known as "cross steering".Whereby when it is steep enough you clutch the opposite track to the direction you want to go. Gravity takes over and that side speeds up as the machine makes a gentle turn. Not only is the turn quicker and more productive,it also saves on brake wear. My dad taught me this little trick when I was abt 10.
Thanks for sharing your dad's trick.
Land-fill here we come !!
Good job removing that side deck Georgie. !!
Try backing down a hill... and go to brake one track, except it clutches and that track takes off instead of slowing down. Takes some getting used to indeed
Thanks for watching.
Looks like an expensive fix. !
It looks like a big fire , Georgie ! Wow I wonder how something like that starts ? Sure is a lot of smoke too !
See ! Al Gore was right ! Global Warming ???
Frozen h2o in South Carolina, what is that ?
Looks like a brand new house !
Yeah the jet stream slowdown is terrible. Hopefully, the rate of subtropical ridging will not lessen as the years go on as a function of heating. Otherwise, every time there's a stratospheric warming event, there could be yet another cold snap. And as a border person, it sucks (Maryland)
Good job Bob!
