Happy Birthday bro!!
@@spacecommandercookie thank you bro 😎
Happy birthday!!!
@@timsherman2164 thank you so much my man!!!!
Thank youuuuu🥳
Love your videos bro. You running your own company/jobs?
@@billlagudas thank you bro I really appreciate it!!! And company not yet brotha but jobs on the side yes but full time I’m working with my old coworker from our old company and his son is my helper 😎 but I do got my own thing on the side I’ll have to make a playlist of my side jobs 🫡
@@Twisted-Texan That’s dope man sky’s the limit for you brother. I’m in Cali but just started my schooling about a month ago and I want to get into residential too. Love doing the rough ins and stuff they seem interesting and chill. I wanted to get some tips on how to become like an apprentice/helper? Look around my area for specific residential company and just apply for a helper? Helpers are apprentices right?
@@billlagudas ayyyy that’s awesome bro it’s a very good trade to be in my man no matter where you go someone somewhere is gonna need some lights ⚡️😎 and yes you are correct you if there is a company around your area looking for helpers/apprenticeship that is your best opportunity to get hands on training and start getting your hours for your licenses that’s how I started 10 years ago bro and been loving it ever since 😎
what size hole saw do you usually use for those round cut ins used for the vanity?
@@gander4694 if your using a 4” cut in box the ideal size for your hole saw would be 4 1/8th for the box to fit snug inside 😎
Enjoying the videos. Will be waiting for the next ones.💯
@@Drewchris thank you so much my man I appreciate it!! 😎
you reverse polaritied the floor plug
Great catch!!!!! First one to notice brotha!!!! Nice little Easter egg hidden for yall to find and point out 😎 it’s been corrected and proceeded right at the end of the day 🫡
That bowed up board at 30 minutes really bothering my OCD.
😂😂😂😂
How much for that service call on the surface mount. Wish all calls were that easy lol
For that one I think it was 125 for replacing the light 😎
Keep the videos coming Brodie! Im a jman up here in Maryland and I still learn shit.
@@ranch3727 hell yeah brotha!!! 😎 everyday is a school day is what I like to tell people 😂
I learn something new every time I watch you bro! I've been around a lot of electricians being in the trades here in Cali and haven't seen anyone as fast and clean as you. I shit you not at the end of a commercial job the union electric companies throw brand new material in the dumpster because the labor expense is more costly than saving material...Crazy shit huh?
@@Yehmon345 ayyyy hell yeah bro!!!! I really appreciate that a lot!!! A couple of my old coworkers and I would do races on receptacles or the entire rooms lol and yeah union is crazy bro I had a buddy in union as well he would tell me he wouldn’t do crap 😂
You need a take your son to work day 😂😂 gio would look cute when you start your video and he in the back

@@Drewchris thank you so much man I’m glad you’re enjoying the content!! 😎
If your using the anti read the lable your suppose use like a wire brush or to rub it in the feeders not just dump it on the conductors. Read the instruction
@@MrLopps we don’t require that here that’s unless they ask before instillation the only time we have to do that is if someone gets a personal inspector that “knows” what they’re talking about hahah different strokes for different folks
You can mix breakers in Texas
@@traviswilliams5225 only if they’re compatible like ch or br type so we only use square d (home line) or eton and those are both compatible only a small difference in the breaker clip. Some inspectors call for regulation though
@Twisted-Texan man, yall got it easy. In florida, we have to match breakers with the panel, or we fail inspection.
@@traviswilliams5225 yeah bro same here sometimes it really just depends on the inspector and the area we are in also like for instance we can leave our THHN with the gas clamp hanging in the rafters waiting for gas line and pass but some areas require us to have the gas line already ran and then we clamp to it hahah
Are you a journeyman? And how long have you been an electrician?
@@Jason-oo9ik I’ve been in the trade for 10 years now bro just needing my test for masters
Wire that ground dude.
Oh no. Tools and tech from 80s. Pay you technican and good salary please, so we have less of this.
🤣🤣🤣
Where at in texas?
@@TannerEskew plainview, brownfield and Lubbock based brotha 😎
Worst installation on walls used is foam because it traps in all the moisture in the wood leading to decay and rot it prevents wood from breathing thats why in UK its a method profound upon
I completely understand you from your point of view I have a buddy that is from the uk and how he would put it it’s quite damp there so yes I would understand but here its hot and dry therefore the foam insulation here provides a fresher environment
Awesome vid brotha 👌🏼🔥
@@dominiksmith623 thank you so much my brotha!! I really appreciate it 😎
Did you hook up the ground wire from the light fixture?
@@dylanwolfe9432 no not with these particular surface mounts we’ve stopped connecting the ground due to static charge from the insulation it continuously makes them burn up the diodes instead of tripping the breaker first so we did a test and without connecting the ground for the surface mount you get longer life span and it’s safer with the breaker detecting it
@@Twisted-Texan thanks for the info!
@@dylanwolfe9432 no problem but just to add to the information, only reason being we only do that for surface mounts is cause we use afci's (arc fault circuit interrupter) which cause it to trip off of the neutral rather the ground in that sense
I watched one video and had to watch another and now going to watch them all, great videos bro! I have a question, I upgraded my panel last year form 100amp to 200amp and I used permanent marker pen to label on the inside panel door but now it's completely faded out, what do you use to label breakers that won't fade? Thanks in advance
@@Yehmon345 that’s so awesome thank you so much bro I really appreciate it man!! 😎 and as do marking panels I’ve always used Milwaukee sharpies when I label but also when I label panels they will have a blank paper label you can mark on. So for instance if you’re lookin to relabel you can probably order some blank panel labels you can mark yourself or you can order pre labeled where you just stick next to the breaker brotha 😎
@@Twisted-Texan Appreciate your response my friend, I never thought about the paper labels and I have one lol. Again thank you brotha, I enjoy the videos!!
@@Yehmon345 heck yeah bro anytime I love to be able to respond and help out with any questions or concerns 😎💡⚡️
No arc fault or GFCI breakers? New residential cmon bro
@@electricalron you obviously didn’t continue watching. Every house doesn’t go without an arc fault at least one I do that is lol but no we don’t require gfci breakers unless we are gonna share the lighting with it

I was gonna say something about the drive thru convenience store but I got beat to it haha. Vegas needs something like that. Really enjoying the vids bro! Went through the HVAC program at my local trade school and onto Electrical next. Watching these videos get me more hyped!
@@VisualRamen yooo that’s good news my man!!!! Big ups to you as well on your venture I hope you find joy in it brotha! I’ve been in the electrical trade going on 10 years now and I can tell you that it definitely doesn’t get boring bro 😎 just find your comfortability and it’ll be gravy
@@Twisted-Texan 10 years?? Damn man, you look hella young too brother (definitely a compliment haha) I just hit 30 last month but I know that ain't stopping me from pursuing the trade. Some people in my HVAC class were 5-10+ years older than me so it reassured me that it's not too late!

Do you guys even have tests for electrical in Texas?
@@user-lv5wb5to2y yes we do we also have schooling Also with the spinners are pretty awesome I have a couple of them I made myself hanging in my garage I’ll have to bring them in a video one day for a rough in my man 😎
We're using shitty blue boxes question mark also do you notice spinner is for rolls of romance once you get a thousand foot roll and put it on a fucking rack how your texts are half as backwards
😂😂😂
Holy crap. Thats as wrong as a person could install an outlet. Hope the house is well insured
@@christophernicholson7861 gotta love different points of view 🤣
Its not a different point of view. Its wrong. About 5 code violations and improper installation methods.
@@christophernicholson7861 all code and comfort is different everywhere you go buddy 😎
@@Twisted-Texan and I guess running a razor knife across romex to strip it is different everywhere too. Check out an NEC book they're the same everywhere in the USA. Look back 4 or 5 cycles let me know if it says to twist up grounds with no crimp or wire nuts. Also see what it has to say about the amount of cabling outer jacket left in a box. Also have a look at how long the wires must be. I'm done talking to you. The internet will get you soon enough. Buddy!
@@christophernicholson7861 glad for your input and thanks for the wishes 👏👍 you’ll be seeing me around 🫡😎
Don't know what edition NEC your required to use but this wouldnt pass code in Indiana and we use the 2008 edition. The grounds not having a mechanical connection is enough to fail.
@@mokeimusic we are using the 2016 we haven’t adopted the 2020 just yet. But that’s what I hear code is different in certain places and especially here in Texas but then again just a town over from me in their code they use 12/2 for all lighting instead of 14/2 or 14/3
I'm sorry but i couldn't watch past 10 minutes, the music was distracting. It was hard to hear. Best of luck to you.
Thank you so much for your input I will work on it, trying to get the right audio balance hope to see you again 🫡
I will never understand why you put the wires inside the box before stripping them and then use a razor knife.. crazy
heck yeah man ive seen many ways to do it but i guess everyone finds their comfort lol
@@Twisted-Texan right on man I get it.. whatever works for you.. I'm in Ohio if you ever find yourself this let me know
@@jamesearl88 will do man!! Im curious to see how you do it as well it’ll be cool to learn other styles and see what works for everyone 🫡
