2:39 What is the point of the velcro pads?
This track is great. What is this?
The idea looks very nice. But I'd like to know all details for parcels. If the average weight of parcels s the same or there is a big gap? Typical delivering distance? And so many others questions.
Hello, thank you for the video. I'd like a short video on bike removal. How easy is it to put it on / take it off the bike when you don't need it?
Pls I need to know where I can get that box or a similar one
What I don’t understand is why they made this so complicated. Nobody wants a gates dry because of this I would never buy one.
Finally after 5 years or so, being envious to see a Bullitt Cargo biker passing by, I myself finally got my very own Bullitt bike. I'm loving it alot.
I’m imaging being the refreshing drink man on a critical mass ride 😂
I bring my Soundboks Speakers with me on Critical Mass Rides. :)
Great video. Another one about the maintenance needed (ball joint, steering column, etc) and at which frequency it has to be done would be useful.
I've had a look through your website but couldn't find an answer to this - why would one mount the steerer arm to the outside hole on the fork vs. the inside hole?
I also want to know about this.
Answered my own question. I changed to the inside bolt. You just get a bit more angle both ways, no real change to steering feel or anything else.
I have the original first model and love it! My previous one didn't have one and even moving the rod to the inner hole didn't completely the wobble. My second Bullit came with this original one and it really helps. Add the inner hole mod and you have the best steering experience even with 100kg loads.
what in the wrench size?
very well made little video especially the child looking forwards at 0:33
Cargo bikes are a wonderfull idea. But the reality is they are price gouging for the hippie want to be.
What’s the need of sunshade A?
Need this. I get crazy death wobbles on my Bullitt
Huge increase in speed of travel over vans! It's great that you're able to produce the data that fleet managers and Ops specialists can use for decision making. All power to the Kale Collective.
Hold on. I'm looking at that steering module after seeing one on the road- and I'm a little bothered by it. It's a single bolt holding the steering? If that bolt goes, or unscrews (I know it has nylon to help resist unscrewing, but that is no guarantee on a vibrating part!) Do you use Loctite? I know from experience, again, that LocTite needs a reapplication on every disassembly. And it's on a single tab on the fork blade's right side? And it's an open ball joint? What stops corrosion, wear, and that ball joint from popping out, or failing? Is there any redundancy in the design to keep at least some control of the bike in the event of the above?
Yes. It's a single bolt. There's a special washer that prevents it from unscrewing. I will have a detailed reply for you tomorrow.
@@JSolisHD Thank you, I appreciate it and look forward to that. I'm no machinist by any stretch but I'm handy enough with a wrench, and I may be interested in trying to fabricate something a little more robust.
De façon général la Belgique est adapté aux vélos (piste cyclable + automobilistes respectueux). Le projet est interessant dans ce type de ville. C'est dommage, en France dans les grandes villes ça fonctionnerais pas.
If youre selling one let me know 😂😢
Have been commuting by Bullitt as a contractor in Seattle for about 7 years. As traffic has gotten worse, my transit time has stayed the same. So many people have never even heard of cargo bikes here, but the inertia of a car-centric culture is real, and oil remains the #1 traded commodity in the world. All of the evidence doesn't outweigh the power of generations of people, duped into driving.
After 3 years this video was recommended to me. And i yet to see an affordable Bullitt bike. Its nothing fancy just an artisian cargo bike...
Lol😂, the guy at 0:35 was not happy!
Nice
finally seen the rumored damper. Not even has ever seen it. Bought the one from velution as yours was never seen before.
Lucky you, I can't get velution to reply. Typical Germany won't post to UK post Brexit 🤦 and 200eur for this.... Seems steep. I've had wobble at 15mph with toddler only aboard... It's strange, I've done 40mph and not had any
any chance you can identify what specific brand spiral wrap you use for the cabling? it’s so much cleaner than anything at local stores or amazon and i wish i could add it to my analog bullitt
I have NEVER experienced any speed wobble on my bullitt. Not even in a fast descend with a top speed of 68kph (the cargo bay was loaded with only about 12kg). I am happy that I dont need the steering damper.
me neither! sometimes makes me feel like i’m doing something wrong 😂
Good for you!!
🙌
Lækker farve 👍❤️❤️
Würde das auch mal gerne testen, wäre vielleicht ne Anschaffung wert 👍🏻
Sieht richtig gut aus 👌👍🏻
He's cycling like an absolute menace with a bike this large! Accident waiting to happen at the 27 second mark. Not cool.
Not very pedagogic, more important to be cool…
Egg heads and data and numbers give me a head ache!!! I don't trust em.
My grandfather started his working life at fourteen years old in 1893. He worked for a delivery company. They received goods by train and boat arriving in the city. All collected in their warehouse. Everything was sorted out, nearby delivery was done by walking boys, heavier stuff and further into the inner city by hand pulled carts, outside city center by horse and wagon, surrounding countryside was serviced by tram and delivery at a local distribution point. Usually an inn where the tram would stop anyway for passengers. So, this study is valuable but not new, a hundred and thirty years ago efficiency and brains already ruled delivery.
I appreciate that you are taking a more analytical approach, would you consider releasing a full report on your findings?
long live the cargo bike !!
👍
And if deliveries will change onto bikes there is no need to have a huge car infrastructure in cities and therefore it should be rebuild to give more focus on bikes. This leads to a faster time/speed with bikes and therefore the advantage will also get bigger. If you would like to compare a German city, I think Bremen would be a good choice because there are often heavy traffic congestion and cycling infrastructure is quite okay. Could be way better but some special routes are really great build.
There is a reason why the Logistik Industry is using Trailers ;-) Why should it be different on bike?
Love it, I bet the customers are left smiling much more often also ❤
hey @fleximodal good advertisment!!!
😂
1:13 What trailer is that? I want to have one!
They are two models of fleximodal.
High-key love my bullitt
I've always recognized how much we could do just by relying on trains + a bunch of final 5km commuting vehicles, not only cargo bikes but I'll insist till the end our true sustainable commuting battle is located in Latin American, Asia-pacific and other third-world venues. Trust me, we can't keep on feeling we will be able to change the way the entire world is moving just by thinking about roading that wonderful European roads...
So true. But also keep in mind, we would be dealing with tropical heat at that. So there surely be a different approach. Cannot be just a blue print copy of whats working in Europe and N. America
Make it fixed! Haha
❤😍🔥
Hope to get a third Bullitt 😉 ❤❤❤
