Interesting how Bonaparte has a full face of rotting flesh for his Woge while Renard has 2 patches on his face that change, even though they are both Zauberbiests. I think it depends on how often you woge for how much it takes over. Like how Renard’s mom looked more old and rotted than Adalind when she woged in the spice shop, because she has obviously woged more. Renard has great control over his woge and hardly ever woges. I mean, we didn’t even see him woge at all until season 2 during the purification process, and it’s for 2 seconds at most before he goes back to his face and says “get it together.” It shows how different Renard and Bonaparte are-Renard understands what it can do to him, and uses it as a last resort because he is smart and also likes the idea of being mysterious and not having the whole town know what he is. Meanwhile Bonaparte treats it like Nick treats his gun or the books-something to be used whenever he feels like it can be helpful (which for someone like him is a lot) and NOT as a last resort. Interesting choice for the screenwriters or whoever but I think it was smart.
Sage Peters no renard is only half zauberbiest I’m not sure what his father was and Bonaparte is a full blooded zauberbiest that is why he was much stronger then renard and renard couldn’t move things like a full blooded hexenbeast or zauberbiest it would be different for Kelly though since there has never been a half Grimm and half zauberbiest which would make him really powerful even more so then eve
Major mistake was to give every season a cerain haed theme instead of simply going on the story with new types of Wesen. That has killed the show at the end.
2019 I love Grimm to much, I rewatched it like 7 times and right now I'm on season 4, and I'm learning about external and internal conflicts lol, sorry that I'm writing a lot, I just love this show, it's my favorite.
