    Hello Sir love the channel. I have a RC-55. Mechanic was just in. He pulled apart the bead breaker and fixed the bead breaker that was not breaking down when pedal was applied. I would have to hold out on the handle to get something to catch to break down the tire. Now after spending a good bit of money to get it fixed. Now all it does it leak air. When break down lever is applied, the only time it don't leak. Soon as you let go of the lever it starts leaking from the exhaust manifold. Do you know of this is the valve? Or do I have to get the break down cylinder orings done? Any information is much appreciated.. subscribed

      Hi, God bless you too, thank you! Push shift and 3, that will bring up the voltages on your display. Your voltages need to be between 35 and 55. Most likely one of your voltages is too high or too low. If it’s out, you’ll need to schedule a service call. Your potentiometers may need adjusted by a Coats tech.

    • @mr.tirechanger

      The most likely problem is that your weight is not in the same place when you go from the front of the wheel to the back of the wheel. Try making sure the weight is in exactly the same place in the front and back. Or, you could have a bad piezo sensor under the motor.

    • @mr.tirechanger
      @mr.tirechanger Рік тому

      Hello. Sounds like it's not communicating between processors. You could check in the back of the machine there's a red cover, on the cover look through the hole and see if the light solid or blinking. If it's blinking then there's no communication between the processor and the inverter. That could be due to a bad wire or wire partially unplugged. First place I would check is under the hood mount, there's a computer, those plugs sometimes in shipping get pulled out accidently. Make sure those plugs are plugged in and also to the monitor at the top. Then reboot the machine, make sure it runs and then check if that light is staying on solid. If not, there could be a bad connection between processor and inverter, in which case you could removed the covers if you'd like and check to make sure the wires are all connected under there - being careful not to get shocked. If none of that works, you'll need to call Coats and have a service tech look at the machine.

    • @mr.tirechanger
      @mr.tirechanger Рік тому

      Hello. It sounds like when you are moving your weight from the front of your wheel to the back of your wheel, you may be off a little bit on the location. Also, this could be caused by bad piezo sensors, but if you're able to complete the calibration and it seems to go to zeroes after the first spin most times then you should be good.

    Question on using other types of mounting methods… Do you need to recalibrate the balancer if you change to a collet, universal lug plate, or pin plate mounting method? Meaning do you need to incorporate any of these used for balancing in the calibration? Thanks in advance.

    • @mr.tirechanger
      @mr.tirechanger Рік тому

      Hi, no, if it's calibrated you don't need to do anything different when you use special mounting collets or pin plates. But remember whatever goes on the balancer shaft gets balanced with the tire, so you don't want to use any damaged cones or pin plate adapters. And also, don't ever use a damaged hub nut, meaning one side broke off, the tire will definitely be out of balance. Thanks for the comment!

    I have the 1400, I can do the first step, but when I attempt to do the arm calibration it is saying "volts must be between 0.38 and 0.65, adjust pots" what do I do? First time ever seeing this, that k you in advance

    • @mr.tirechanger
      @mr.tirechanger 2 роки тому

      Most likely you need to replace the arm potentiometers (pots). How you check your voltage is push and hold the shift button while pushing the number 3, those will be your voltages and your right and left weight displace and those should be between the 0.38 and 0.65. And they should be constant; if they are rolling or changing value that's a definite sign that the pots need replaced. Now pull the arm out as far as the face plate is and hold it steady and see if they're changing value while they're out. If they do, then you need a service call. You can call Hennessy directly and they'll schedule you a service tech. Also, if the at home rest voltages aren't withing the range, you would need a service tech to come out and adjust those for you. Hope that helps!

    Hello Greg! The service you provide translates to many satisfied drivers on our nations highways. My question is: In 2020 I purchased a low mileage 2010 Honda Accord, with a mixed bag of tires on it - two tires worn more than the others, one tire a different load index, etc. So I had a new set of Pirelli All Season Pluses put on it, balanced, the whole nine. So what could have caused one of those wheels to be still out of balance even after balancing? The new Pirellis were mounted, balanced, and installed at a Town Fair the dealer farms out their tire and wheel services to, so I have no idea what balancer was used that day. After driving this fine Accord around for over two years, with kind of a nervous feeling especially the front wheels, I finally got it rebalanced with a 1300 at my local shop where I live in CT. Your thoughts on this are appreciated!

    • @mr.tirechanger
      @mr.tirechanger 2 роки тому

      Yes, the tire needs to be balanced to zeroes first before you can use it for calibration. Put your balanced wheel on the balancer, enter the dimensions, make sure you come up with zeroes on both sides, turn your wheel to a top dead center where there are no weights on the front or on the back. Then, turn machine off and back on again, don't rotate wheel, go right to calibration. And you'll be able to put your blue weight on where there is no weight.

      Thanks for the comment. On the alloy wheels, use your regular dynamic setting, enter the distance from machine and diameter of wheel as normal. But, for the width use a tape measure to determine the distance from inside weight to where the sticky weight is going to go, use that as your width. That will go to zeroes quicker. Plus, consolidate your sticky weights in a pile, don't spread them apart. Hope that helps.
