Installing The Engine Into My K10 Micra...
After many months of the engine sitting on the engine stand, it was finally time to work on and service the old 1L engine that was previously in the K10 Micra.
Once all of this was done it was finally time to install the engine back into the car which means more work can progress including wiring, installing the drivetrain, cooling system and much more to push this k10 Micra project car restoration further to completion.

Preparing The K10 Project Car For A Full Respray

This past month has been spent preparing the K10 project car for its full respray. Many hours of preparing and sanding down the shell and body panels ready for the first layers of primer. Next month will be spent spraying the primer on, and then continuing to sand down the primer all over again to then finally apply the paint and clear coat. Anyway, sit back and enjoy!

The Audi 80 Is Back In The Unit...

After the previous weekends track day, the k11 Micra needed only a couple small bits of fixing. Once these had been completed, the Audi 80 has now returned back into the unit due to the expired MOT. Next few weeks will be spent making the 80 ready for its MOT test, hopefully making it back onto the road for potentially the 3rd time.

After getting the Audi 80 back on the road, the spot in the garage has been taken by the k11 Micra. Ready and waiting for its final preparation to make it track day ready. This weekend was spent changing both belts, the alternator, front pads, and the brake fluid. And finally as a bonus, the Micra got a well deserved clean.

Hi! Welcome to Unit 18, the place where I attempt to fix up and restore older cars. I am by no means an expert at any of this, so watch along and maybe learn a thing or two as I try my best to repair and modify these cars. This weekend was the challenge of fixing my old 1994 Audi 80 after it gave up and broke down a couple weeks ago. However, as usual a simple job turned out not to be so simple.

@@ABunchOfSpanners that is an odd one 🤣, sounds like the Audi 80, lost all electrics and wouldn’t even turn over, a quick shake and and push on the fuse box fixed everything 😂, sounds like a loose connector or pin maybe

This channel is like a day in the life of owning old cars... and I've got to say I love it! I have an audi coupe with the same 2.0 ACE engine that Ive just spent the last three months slowly cleaning everything up suspension wise and everything underneath. Once it was ready for an mot it started to leak fuel from a cracked fuel line, so.... back to work I go 😂. Love the channel keep it up!
