Yeah, trying to stop a bit too hard, when I realized I was over the line. But I was a bit surprised that I lost the control instantly...
@@明之路 yeh, I would advise rear brake and engine braking next time but balancing engine braking at low gear low rpm can take practice and disengaging the clutch removes alot of stability so yeh, rear brake next time instead because if you apply to much rear it wont fork on you like it did the front

I would not have expected the front to slide out like that with ABS. Possibly a dumb question, but are you sure you have ABS? And is it functioning correctly?
The bike has ABS I'm sure. I'm a novice rider, so I can only assume it isn't faulty given no warning light has come on so far. I lost the handle the moment I brought in that front brake. It's a bit strange, as the front break on my HD hadn't been that responsive. I blame the road surface 😁
@@明之路 The ABS light on the dash should come on when you turn the bike on, and then disappear when you've been rolling for a few seconds.
@@dgphi Thanks for your time to respond to my messages! Yeah, there hasn't been any issue/warning during the self-check when starting the bike. Not sure if it's related but there has been some squeaky noise when breaking.
