I will be in San José in a week and have a medical alert dog but still want to enjoy my first trip there and go check out San Lucus for the tourist activities that aren’t available in San José

Hi! I don’t know the behavior of your dog. The rules are tighter in Cabo than other parts of Mexico. You can walk around the Marina no problem. You don’t want to swim IN the Marina but yes there are boats that you can take your dog on, but not all boats. Boats with larger amounts of people, like a “tour”, won’t let dogs on. But private boats no problem. The beaches are the problem with MANY rules against dogs. So unless you take a private tour to a snorkeling beach they will not allow your dog. San Jose is much more friendly than San Lucas, Enjoy!

Yes the cities are very different. With a dog I would advise to stay in San Lucas unless you want to pay “private” for everything in Cabo. Too many rules. Enjoy Baja with your baby!

Hi and thank you for watching. Yes the northern states of Mexico have the most Mordidas, but, it exists everywhere. Since you are driving Baja I suggest you avoid Cabo San Lucas too. San Jose Del Cabo is fine but avoid CSL and be extremely cautious in La Paz. The police just want your money (don’t give it to them even though it’s easier). Mexico is a very safe country, you won’t have to worry about kidnappings. Have a safe and super fun trip!!!

Hello! No it’s not a dry heat like Vegas. It’s not a “nice” heat, most Americans and Canadians leave for the summer. On the East side of the peninsula, the Sea of Cortez, brings a breeze-less, humid heat. Luckily, La Paz has some of the most beautiful beaches, in all of Mexico, just outside of town! Hi Dean! This is easy to explain. “Traditional” Mexican music depends on where you are visiting. Mariachis are originally from Guadalajara, according to Mexican history, and are traditional in the state of Jalisco where Puerto Vallarta is located. Also, it is common to find mariachis in tourist and border cities like PV, Cabo San Lucas, Cancun, Tijuana and Ensenada to name a few. In Mazatlan, state of Sinaloa, Banda music is traditional. Banda is everywhere in Mazatlan… beaches, cantinas, restaurants, festivals, etc. you cannot escape it if you wanted to. The most famous band of all Mexico is called “Banda MS” and the MS stands for… you guessed it… Mazatlan Sinaloa. As far as restaurants in PV; to begin with the video you are referencing is about comparing the 2 cities of Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Food is only a part of the comparison. Additionally, there is no way to cover ALL the good restaurants in PV, there are just too many. @@travelingwithdogs People kept telling us we needed to find "banda" music in Mazatlan, but no one, even the cabbies seemed to be able to find any for us. All we heard was Rock and Roll music, which we weren't really interested in.

We didn’t test the Purina pro line for 2 reasons; it’s not readily available in Mexico where we travel, and 2, because it’s very expensive compared to the competition. There are many other quality brands for less money, or better value. In the end it’s all about the ingredients. We always recommend reading the ingredients above all. If there is soy or soy meal just don’t buy it…. There are so many top quality options !!!
