Air tight you can pretty much store them for eons. I only ever clean the bottles if I swap the dye to a different color for some reason. The caps on these ones were not the best quality and some of them cracked and caused the dyemix to dry out sadly. But if you get nice quality bottles then they'll last for a long time I'm sure.

A container brush by Pentel or some other cheaper brand perhaps. Just a regular dye mix inside. You could use various mediums. This is Sinol (travel cooker fuel similar to alcohol) and a tiny bit of acetone.

The first video I posted is a tutorial but in finnish so it might be a bit tricky to understand. It's also quite outdated. I recommend @thedifferenceisdoingit channel tutorials or the facebook group Disc golf dyers. Be sure to have a premium plastic disc and some poly dyes to begin with. Good luck! 😎🤙

Thanks! I've done a cell tutorial in finnish. Been meaning to update the thing and do it in english finally but haven't got around it yet. Basically bunch of this for me is testing my limits, exploring potential and the variety of techniques out there. Learning while doing it and that's what I encourage people try as well. Best way to learn is just to FAFO. 😎🤙

I'm sure it can for example when silicone oil brings colors to the top from below. The neon colors can also screw with darker colors if they get mixed. The background for this one was little less dark than what I was going for. Probably just a weak batch of black I mixed.

Depends. Heat helps dye to migrate faster. You have to pretty much always figure out how much saturation you want and adjust the sit time accordingly. Last lotion dye I did was an eclipse (harder) plastic so I left it over night without heat. Heat enhances saturation if you use color intensifier in your mixes.

Yes. I placed the disc under the heater for a bit and the lotion mix tends to dry out pretty fast. If it's dry it won't dye so I use a cover to keep the moisture there for the time it's sitting under the heat.

Floetrol on tarvittava medium. Silikoniöljyä käytän yleensä kaikissa väreissä mikäli teen tällä tekniikalla. Kameleonttisoluissa öljy tökitään petiin vasta jälkikäteen eikä soluja synny jos väreissä on valmiiksi öljyä, tai jos tahtoo minimalistisesti soluja niin silloin öljyä ei kannata käyttää.

@@discink770 ok i will switch to flowtrole only. I was using lotion/flowtrole mix and just could not get any cells to pop like that. looks like sonic blue. Caribbean or flag blue. idye red and can't figure out your yellow or black.

Pro chemical and dye värejä Rocket discsiltä, Idye Polyä Powergripistä, Floetrollia Kärkkäiseltä, Silikoniöljyä esim. Suomalaisesta kirjakaupasta. Oramask vinyyliä Disc Dye Storesta, Muuta sälää ja härpäkettä Prismasta. Keraaminen terraariolämmitin eläinkaupasta tai lämpölamppu esim. Puuilosta. :)

@@discink770 Hei vielä semmonen kysymys että mihin ne värit sekoitetaan? Oletettavasti samaan tököttimeen mistä peti on tehty? Ja voiko ton floetrollin korvata jollain helpommin saatavilla olevalla aineella. Oon nähny et monet käyttää jotain käsirasvaa mut ne ei vaikuta olevan kauheen juoksevia monet

@@jii-ro7083 Soluja jos meinaa tehdä niin Floetrol on paras mediumi. Lotion, liima, partavaahto, pyykinpesuaine, Sinol jne. jne. Toimii myös kaikki eri jutuissa vähän riippuen mitä tekee. Kandee katella videoita eri tekniikoista ja tehdä sen mukaan mikä itseä kiehtoo. Kokeileminen on sallittua. Joku on käyttänyt puuroa ja joku toinen majoneesiakin kokeilumielessä mediumeina. :)

Dye mixed in travel cooker fuel "Sinol" which is mostly ethanol. The rule of thumb "If it's dry, it won't dye" applies. So just let it dry out then you can wash off the excess dye and it's done.

In my 500ml floetrol mixes I use about 7-12 drops. 30ml lotion mixes juat a few couple drops. It helps to pop saturation when using heat while dyeing. 😎🤙

I use few different mediums. Floetrol for the cell stuff, lotion for coloring and tiny bit of acetone and mostly alcohol for the black stencil lines and doodles.

My orange mix was a bit strong with pigment and looked a bit too red so I washed it off and decided to add more yellow to make the pinkish look that it had more orange. Thought about mixing another patch of orange but it looked good enough for me after the yellow treatment.

@@discink770 Makes sense now. What is the water tank brush/pen exactely? I am guessing some kind of Pentel model? Eager to try that out myself...

@@BestialAggressor I have couple Pentel container brushes and a few knock offs that are a bit more leaky like the one I use here for the black.

Ilmatiiviinä säilyy. Eli frisbee tms. kanneksi niin voi käyttää floet useamman kerran. Tätä nykyään käytän terraarioon tarkoitettua keraamista infrapuna lämpöelementtiä värjäyksessä lämmön lähteenä. Uuni oli vuoden päivät ihan fine kun oli tarkkana ettei ylikuumentanut muovia ja petejä. Eivät suosittele ruokauunia käytettäväksi tuohon tarkoitukseen ymmärrettävistä syistä, mutta itsellä se toimi kyllä väliaikaisesti tarkoitukseen hyvin. Eikä ollut ruoissa koskaan mitään ylimääräistä väriä tiettävästi. Omalla vastuulla. :)

kiitos paljon! vielä kysyisin, että minkä aikaa sellaisella infrapunalämmittimellä pitää lämmittää että värit jää kiekkoon ja värjäys onnistuu

@@juho9049 riippuu Aina muovista. Kovempia muoveja joutuu pitämään kauemmin pedissä. Onnistuneita värjäyksiä tulee sitten kun alkaa tekemään. Ensimmäiset yleensä ei mee ihan nappiin. ✌😎

Värit on ennalta sekotettuja Floetrolliin kyllä. Color intensifieria tulee idye poly väripakettien mukana. Se auttaa värien saturoinnin kanssa lämpöä käytettäessä. Ilman sitä värit jäävät helposti haaleammiksi.
