Thank you so much. I find that mounting some of the sets on the wall gives me more space to display stuff. I have a couple more wall sections with stuff mounted too. It’s a work in progress but I’m glad you like it and I appreciate the encouragement. Thank you.

It’s actually live action and it’s a lot more like some of the great 80s movies like Goonies, ET and others. It’s an adventure with kids. Many were afraid it would be a kids show. While it is family friendly, it’s not just for kids.

I agree. Though the value of set has benefited from it being a one time creation. I’d love to see a modern day version of this set.

I believe the first Lego clone Minifig was from 2002, Phase 1 Clone trooper SW0058 from the original Republic Gunship followed in 2003 by the AT-TE which gave us four more of the same.

@goldenpatrion you should take a look at Hox3d.com and see if any of his mounts might help you. That’s what I buy and his stuff is quality.

This set is nearly identical to the 2019 version. The Falcon has been about the same footprint since 2011 but the price has definitely gone up.

@@Korgvex so did I, so don’t worry. I was able to get this on eBay for around $35 or so. That’s not bad. Just keep looking for good deals.

I bought It for only 25 Euros complete with the box. I found It in a vintage toy shop

@ that’s an excellent find. It continues to increase in value.

I’d hate to give up that handle if I were playing with it, but for display purposes you could definitely lose the handle and some other areas. You’d lose durability but for display purposes that isn’t such a bad trade off.

Thank you for subscribing, Brian. It’s great to have you here. It’s fun to think about what would be possible if you customized some of the sets. While I really liked the Star Destroyer because of its exterior looks and a few of its play features, the interior size is a problem. It isn’t to the scale of some of the other ships, but little more interior space would not have hurt my feelings. You give up space to gain durability I suppose.

That duel was a very powerful scene.

It’s a tear jerker for sure. Excellent scene and amazing lightsaber duel. Probably still the best lightsaber work we’ve seen today.
