      You’re welcome! In my opinion, camera doesn’t matter as much as the lens for product photography. Some popular camera choices include Canon R5, Sony A7iii, and I personally use a Nikon z7ii. I also wrote a blog post about this topic that has more detailed information, if you want to check it out: www.tifftiffstudio.com/musings/best-camera And for lenses: www.tifftiffstudio.com/musings/best-lenses

      I basically scoured IG for small to mid size brands to work with since I thought they would be more likely to respond. I also put together a portfolio and website to share with them and re-wrote my pitch many times 😂 I aimed to send out at least 40/day or 100-150/week. I’m working on putting together a more in-depth video tutorial with tips and tricks on email pitching, let me know if there’s anything specific you want me to cover :)

    As you already know I am a HUGE fan of you detailed editing videos - please keep creating these if you enjoy it yourself 🫶 A small tip in return: In Photoshop you don't have to change speed for each image individually (unless you want different speed for each image). You can just select all and change the time for one of the images 🤓 Best from Susanne

    I just want to thank you for taking the time to create these wonderful videos this week all about editing in Photoshop 🙏 I ABSOLUTELY lovet them all!! Your down to earth teaching style is so valuable and I have saved all your videos from this week to refer back to 🌱 If you are looking for content ideas for other UA-cam videos about Photoshop one thing I would find helpful is walking through the step be step of which layers to create in which order: When do you create a new layer; what layers go on top of each other; when do you group layers; in what order should you do things; and finally - how do you clean up the layers before ending and how do you save them (as ful PSD files to come back and work in them or just back to Lightroom or...)? Just an idea 🌱 Thanks again for this week full of wonderful content from you 😊

  • @SusanneGeert
    @SusanneGeert 3 місяці тому

    This one is very helpful as well 🤓 Love the tip about replacing text from another image to battle the reflections 👌To your question in the end: YES!! I definitely enjoy these Photoshop step-be step editing videos - they are by far my favourite type of content of everything you create 🌱

    • @tifftiffstudio
      @tifftiffstudio 3 місяці тому

      Awesome, I’m so glad to hear that as these kinds of content definitely take the most effort to edit! 😅

  • @SusanneGeert
    @SusanneGeert 3 місяці тому

    This video is so extremely good and helpful and I love your way of approaching asking for engagement here on UA-cam (in return for all the time you put into creating these videos) 🤓 It's easy to think that it doesn't matter to create video like these when engagement and number of followers is growing very slowly. But I think it's such amazingly helpful content so event if people haven't found them yet this week I am sure content like this will help you grow in the long run. I wash really(!) many photography and editing UA-cam videos and lately I have found yours some of the most valuable. What I find most helpful is the way you walk through each editing step in Photoshop (and as mentioned before I am not new to Photoshop). A lot of videos jump quickly over these steps and I found yours stand out on this part and I am sure others will find way to your UA-cam account later down the road due to videos like these. So keep up the good work 🙌 Best from Susanne

    Hi Tiffany, I'm a emerging product photographer and I'm also new to strobe lighting; my mentor who (is a 33-year pro photographer) recommended that I use a handheld light meter instead of going by the one inside the camera. I have found it to be very helpful in lighting my photos.

    Congratulations with your decision to start working with flash/strobe. Once you learn you will never regret - I promise 🙌 Of course a learning curve in the beginning but soon suddenly you get it and it seems quite simple yet elevates your images quite a lot 🤩 Your "Musings" seems like such a great idea - I will check it out 🤓 Do you by any chance have a recipe for the meal you crate at 10:00? It looks so delicious and I would lov to try 🫶 Great idea to use Pinterest more. I would love to as well since I have never shared any of my images there. Do you have any advice on how/what to keep in mind when using Pinterest to attract clients? Thanks in advance 🌱

    • @tifftiffstudio
      @tifftiffstudio 4 місяці тому

      Thanks Susanne!! Strobe/flash definitely has a learning curve but it’s so worth it to learn and I’ve been putting it off for too long now 😅 I’m still brand new to Pinterest in terms of marketing so I honestly have ZERO clue what I’m doing, haha. Right now I’m basically just posting all my work and then creating pins to link back to Musings posts. I’ve been doing some research here and there so if I learn anything or get an idea of what works best I’ll definitely share with you :) Unfortunately, no recipe for the soup. My dad made broth from simmering a lot of pork soup bones for about 2 hours and then added a bunch of vegetables, such as cabbage and carrots.
