I know this video is 3 years old 😀 Sometimes I read reversed, sometimes I don't. It just depends . I'm still trying to learn. My readings are usually spot on. Or at least that's what I'm told lol it's starting to come to me but I still have to look up a lot of the cards. Which, yes it works but it can interrupt your flow. Plus if you're trying to start reading for money, not many people are going to pay someone who has to look up the cards lol it honestly doesn't affect the quality or accuracy of the reading, but I don't want someone looking up cards when they're doing a reading for me if I'm paying I have around 40 something decks. IDK for sure I would have to count. 5 of those are Original. There are some more Original decks I'm wanting to get. Some just to keep and have, others because it's a deck I want and it's not available as a Knock off deck lol It really irritates me when people call them fake. They're NOT fake. They real. Very real. They're in my hands and some of my best and most accurate readings have been with knock off decks Knock off decks mimic the original deck. Even the card stock. Yes they're cheaper cost. Average $10 a deck. The box is cheaper quality of course lol it's usually a Tuck box. The images on the box and cards are duller. The cards are smaller. Which is the part I like the best. I have small hands and short fingers so the smaller cards work great If it's a deck I really like. I want both the knock off decks and Original. Some people have an issue with the knock off because of the guide book not coming with the deck. I'm early 40s so I like paper. Lol I'm not really into the online stuff but hey. Is what it is The knock off decks have a QR code to scan for the guide book. This doesn't bring up the guide book for that deck automatically. It does show a website. You have to go to the website and search. You can also do a Google search by searching for the name of the deck, and add online PDF Guide book No I don't feel like my readings will be off or negative energy is coming to me The best "Learning" deck I ever got was by Witchy Cauldron and it's called Learning Tarot Cards. I got mine on Amazon but Witchy Cauldron has a website. Mine is an older version so the back design is different. You can tell if the card is reversed or not by the back. Some people are too entitled so they will b1tch and say the cards are not reversible. Yes they are. All cards are reversible. So what?? You know the card is reversed before you turn it over?? That changes what?? Exactly They fixed the back design though so that it is reversible to appease the cry babies. These cards have the upright and reverse meanings on the card as well as the planet and the chakra and some has the zodiac sign. There's 2 extra cards in that have the planet, chakra, zodiac charts and a bite about pulling a card a day and some other info

This was fabulous! Thank you so much! And i plan to get the book you mentioned, 78 Degrees to Wisdom, already in my wish-list amazon cart! The questions were great, and I've learned so much. (My deck is a 1985 Mary Hanson- Roberts I picked up long ago, lol). I'm more proficient with astrology, but not a professional; I just love the language & symbolism, and a feeling the universe is alive, if we but listen. I also loved the quotes; your english & literary teaching shines forth! Which brings me to a documentary that involves science, myth, prehistorical art & petroglyphs (some I'm sure in those White Mountains of New Hamshire, oh! and was sorry to hear portions of the "face" tumbled down, 5 of the stones, was it 2011? I've been researching the Betty & Barney Hill case and found myself learning all about the mountains there!) Anyway, the great metaphors & archetypes you bring up, are so fascinating. And this interdisciplinary group of folks, scientists, plasma physicists, astronomers, engineers, alongside MYTHOLOGISTS, have come forward with an absolutely extraordinary theory! Archetypes play a major role! But they believe the primeval source, that's "in our DNA" you mention, actually has a cause! A primordial cause, and vast implications not only for understanding ourselves & our history, but for that belief, as above, so below, which you also mentioned. It is huge. ua-cam.com/video/FrFIohURbi4/v-deo.html And implications for tarot & astrological meanings & symbols, Satuen, The Great Wheel, conjunctions, on&on&on, are made clear, right from the very beginning! And passed on for millenia, truly a miracle! Voices from ancestors, if we'd but see. Thank you again.

Thank you, Susan! 💗 I could not agree more with your sentiments! "I just love the language & symbolism, and a feeling the universe is alive, if we but listen." Beautifully said! Reading that line, I thought of the Transcendentalists, one of my first great literary love affairs. (Imagine my delight when I met and fell in love with a man named -- I kid you not -- Emerson!!! 🥰) Rachel Pollack's _78 Degrees of Wisdom_ will be very much up your alley -- a sweeping (rollicking?) account of cross-cultural symbology for each card. I'd love to check out the documentary you mention. The link you included takes me to a 17-min video about music -- is this what you meant? I will watch either way. I absolutely LOVE the concept of "psychic DNA" and would relish any more "scientific" (air quotes) evidence to that effect. The nay-sayers are legion, and though I don't make it my business to try to convince anyone, but it's always fun to blow folks' minds at the cocktail party re: the meeting of spirituality and science! Much love to you, Susan. Merry meet here in the ether! 💜✨✨✨ Kate @themodernlaundress www.thelaundresstarot.com P.S. Sorry for the delayed reply.
