@@rightnyamade852 Reunion is officially recognized as a department of France who were their former colonial rulers. Seychelles however, independent of its proximity to whichever continent is officially an African nation.

Seychelles may be an African country (and a member of the African Union) but Seychellois firstly regard themselves as an island nation. We feel more kinship with Mauritius and Reunion (historical), Sri Lanka and Maldives (even though theyre Asian) and Haiti and the Caribbeans' (even though they on the other side of the world)

With regards to what I was saying , these are information found on news site in seychelles and seyvillas website. All videos are thoroughly researched before production. Without making this video I would have never realized people from Seychelles don’t consider themselves as Africans when geography and the world map clearly puts Seychelles in Africa. Maybe the Seychellois people themselves should have a reality check about who they really are and start publishing that for researchers to know that as well. I’m just a researcher and I form opinions on the facts provided, I do not make anything up. Thank you and have a nice day

Seychelles is indeed situated in Indian Ocean, southeast of mainland Eastern Africa. It is an African country.
