The day after my birthday I decided to make an art/Eileen day. So I registered to attend the Heliconian Club's life drawing morning session (I get bagged after a couple of hours so I don't do the afternoon session plus I can save money!). I grabbed a large London fog tea latte thanks to a gift card and enjoyed sketching. I used a toned Strathmore sketchbook with chalk and pastel and later an inktense pencil.
Next stop was Laywine's the sell some really lovely pens and stationery. But I am saving my money for my trip so I didn't buy anything. I was tempted by their kakimori dip pens but I can't justify it.
And then it was on to a knitting and craft store in the west end. I have been meaning to repair my duvet cover (thanks Finn and Zadie for clawing into it!) with sashiko thread. They have a good selection at Eweknit on Bloor near Ossington.
Then I sat and sketched in a local coffee shop called Hello Coffee.
It was a great continuation of my birthday. Such a great day.
