Though it's been 4 years since Collection release and many more years since Flash versions release, I still love this game series and even still making some content about it (mostly memes and edits). Love in Paradise is such an amazing song, but the end is so hard for me to listen to. One thing I caught, though: Calypso mentions open arms, but she also calls him Ody (something only Eurylochus calls him in the show) & says he'll be in her heart (what his mom said in the Underworld). And who do we hear from? Polite, Eurylochus, and his mom. It's such a subtle thing that I only heard a few listens in, but it gutted me when I caught it.

i still think the "plot armor PEEP commando" among other chars in the trillogy, like Jagerman, and some of the creatures in Nightmanre Time are used to describe a 3rd type of "thing" from the Black and White The Lords in Black have the TRUE Lord in Black - Wiggly, and the ascendant forms of the other Black and White beasties And this serving as the reason as to WHY Webby is the ONLY known Queen in White, as she mirrors ONLY Wiggly, having no OTHER true queens to mirror the other lords? that leads me to theorise these 2 things 1 - there are 4 Grey creatures in the Black and White 2 - Wiggly manipulated one of each of these creatures to slay other Lords in Black, causing the erasure of their respective Queen in White in a "mystical rebalancing act", ending not only his equals but their Sisters/"cosmic_other_halves" The 4 creatures in my theory are: - Kights - Rogues - Monsters - Sages The Knight is a form of "physical support pilar" for the Black and White, they are innert lifeless golems of what can be, and become whatever others want/need them to become, Wiggly and Blinky want servants, Jagerman wants revenge on the nerds. Simply, the Knights in grey are golems waiting for identity, ready to follow that identity whatever it may be, to the end, knwoing only that, and the commands and will of their living summoner (if this ever turns out right, maybe we'll eventually get a story of a kid with a killer imaginary friend from these guys) A knight can only traverse the realm they were given identity on, with the only thing that can defy their existance being the Queen(s) and the Lords The Rogue is the oposit, rather than servile and passive, a Rogue of Grey would be a natural predator of the Black and White, A creature that in the Black and White can be an ALL POWERFULL WITCH, but in our world, she's nothing but a forest's track of land, existing only as a connection from both worlds, working as a thief that spirits things away from one world to the other, having to present itself in a weakened form within another world in order to anchor itself (and seeing that we have the example of the hatchet field witch, hunting down the poor little kiddies, we could also have the oposit in some worlds, a creature that viciouslly hunts down beings from the Black and White on our world, while being no more harmless than a rock in their own.... my guess, that rock would be a killer mime in the real world, while also being the single worst ROCK that Wiggles hates in the Balc and White... mostly for poetic irony reasons + bringing the Elmo VS Rocko feud from Sesame Street in to this setting through Elmo's eldritch doppleganger) A Monster of Grey, is simply that monster from the Camp Story in Nightmare Time. A creature born in Either World, ready to go BACK N FORTH between the both to hunt whatever counts as it's quory in the Camp Story, the prey the Monster's parents taught it to hunt are Sinners, in another story, the prey could be Greedy people, Indecissive things, idiots and geniousses, WHO CARES, the Monster will prey upon whatever through both worlds Sages of Grey are things from our world, that grew to live and survive in the Black and White, that's where the commando lands, and probably whoever wrote the black book explaining the rituals. A Sage will travel that realm, without loosing themselves, becoming one with their new environment and adapting in to a new state of being, adding something new to the Black and White eco system As part of my Theory, Wiggly found one of each of these, had them eliminate and replace the other Lords in Black, and placed himself as the top of their hiererchy. Pokey is a Parasitic Spore Micelium, that wiggly brought in, and had it become a Sage of Grey, having it grow stronger and more effective, until it infected and took over it's lord in Black, wearing it's face as a mask, and turning any other creature it infects in to just another etherial extansion of it's will and might Nibbly is a monster that was taught to devour desire and hunger, until it devoured the Lord in Black that rulled over that, becoming the world jumping wyrm lord of maws, by keeping it's original abilities Blinky is a Rogue, liked to a defunct carnaval, Wiggly helped it KILL the previous Lord of Entertainment, and it then used it's newfound power to try and make it's carnaval domain self sufficient, as a way to ensure immortality Tinky is a Knight, as physical part of the Black and White, all that Wiggly needed to give it was an identity, at which point he'd fall in to it just right. Tinky was given power over time and space, and away from both, as their bastard, and with that, he was able to overpower and infinitly end the life of the Lord in Black before him... all for such a childish and efemeral desire as mere play... by having control over these 4's rise to power Wiggly became their master and as such, he manipulated the very foundation on the Black and White, turning the Black's symbol in to a Pentagram, Stretching out of a circle with each tip at an equal length, only 1 far further and thicker than the rest But this is all a baseless theory i have ... still want it to be proven true, ESPECIALLY IF they do it with the story where the only thing that keeps Wiggly at bay is 1 of the char's pet rock

The trilogy also encapsulates wants, desires, whims, and urges. TGWDLM talks about people succumbing to the Hive Mind because it gives them what they yearn for. Black Friday talks about people losing their minds and doing whatever is necessary for a commercial product. While Nerdy Prudes is master story-telling of multiple wants clashing and making a chaos of emotion (the best one in my opinion because of its complexity). The "nerds" want to stop being bullied, which backfires into a domino reaction of Jagerman's revenge and Grace Chastity's role.

WAIT A MINUTE ITS A TRILOGY?

So glad this movie is being covered! Went to watch this alone on my birthday last year and man was it an experience, especially since the cinema wasn't even half filled(it was a night showing) Anyways 7 mins in and just some things before I forget: -While watching the movie I was also quite puzzled by the dad marrying his wife's sister, but I looked for an explanation afterwards and apparently it was a cultural expectation to do so during that time period(feel free to correct me) -I remember being shocked by how brutal that self-harm scene was, and I was still trying to process it as the movie went on. It was definitely layers of grief, frustration, anger, and perhaps resignation that would be difficult to precisely encapsulate with words. While I do have a few possibilities in mind it also could be all of them at once, because emotions can be complicated especially in that grieving stage

when starship first came out i was around 14 years old and was just getting to go to conventions for the first time. i remember watching the show, loving it, and then getting so excited to see people actually cosplaying the characters. it's been a long time since i rewatched it but i still think about it fondly enough to have an entire (still unfinished) comic/graphic novel i've been writing in my free time based on it lol
