I remember getting home from school and running my ass off to get to the tv because the movie was coming on tv. I got to the tv in time to see the movie opening and was glued there until it was over. When we suddenly saw Cobra La in the movie even being a kid I was like WTF? Cobra Commander came from a bug & plant based technology society that literally has done nothing this entire time and suddenly now decide to be the apex species? Even the story where the ice age begins and the time of humans begins to come into play just baffled me. You have a high technological society that basically just handed over their planet to humans and is angry that humans did what they did while Cobra La basically sat back and didn't do shit? Like I said, being a kid I loved the movie and was just unable to grasp the sloppy backstory that didn't add up.

Don't know why but Golobulus' bored "Eh, trifle melodramatic. But instructive." cracks me up. Like the dude didn't just spend the last five minutes or so hamming it up retelling the history of Cobra-La and Cobra Commander like he was reciting Richard the Third. But that's the point he thinks is over the top. XD
