What the movie doesn't mention is that Ron Franz (synonym) wasn't that man's real name. Is that he did what Chris implored him to do, and leave his societal life behind and travel/explore. Hence, he bought a camper van and travelled. This is mentioned in the book. The affect Chris had on the people he encountered is quite fascinating, he was a deep and passionate young man, a unique individual. He's a role model for me and so many more people around the world. His story ignites something deep in people, as Chris said, to kill the false being within. Whatever age you are in your life it's never too late. I think that is the ultimate message of his story.
