I had a CT one year ago that showed no kidney mass. This week a CT showed a 4x5 cm solid mass. Would this be considered a slow or fast growing tumor?
Larkin Center
This is a fantastic illustrative video. I have been learning from Dr. Thomas Seyfried and am wondering, If a person, (Myeslf Included), were to reach a state of constant Ketogenisis surviving on Ketons for energy, would just the use of a Glutamine Inhibitor be enough to create the same results in killing cancer cells? I ask because I might have Prostate Cancer, (Still awaiting tests to determine this. My PSA is elevated and Prostate is enlarged). If I am deemed to indeed have prostate cancer, I am unwilling to aproach it in the traditional Standard of Care and have decided to aproach it with a ketogenic diet, (I have been Keto for 11 months now which means less than 20 carbs per day), and a Glutamine Inhibitor pulsed into my system to enable cancer cell death and on the off schedule immune system clean up of dead cells. My struggle will be finding a practicioner who will administer a compound such as CB-839. Are you aware of the ability to obtain CB-839 for personal use in a clinical setting?
In 2017 I had an x-ray after having chest pain. I had a "sizable" tumor on my kidney. Thanks to Dr. Brian Shuch. I am still here. He's a great doctor and a great guy.
Great presentation - thanks. Ultrasound for prostate inflammation and 2.2 cm mass found on kidney. I'm grateful for finding it accidentally and I'm very hopeful for a good outsome.
Both kidney and prostTate medicine appears to be cutting edge from everything ive explored so far? But then again i live in Orange County California so theres that too? Thats whyninnever ever moved anywhere else!! Lolololo. I mean expensive is good for the right reasons
I’ve had a growth on my kidney for a few years that started at 1.5cm. Now it’s 1.8cm, but since last year it has gone from 17 housfield units to 26 housfield units. CT said presumed interval complicated renal cyst. Is this an indication of cancer?
Renal cortial cyst with mild pelvocaliectasia What does this mean?😢
Wow to all my fellow renal Mass survivors. I was getting an abdominal CT scan for PAD in October came back with a 6cm mass on my right kidney. Never got to do anything about the aorta or PAD yet. Cardio says were not doing anything until u do something with the kidney!! So with year end coming having to change my insurance I ended up having to do a radical nephrectomy a month ago!!arch 2024! Now will my lil ol remaining kidney hold up?? Only time will tell again!! Oh but one additional bonus…my urologist convinced me that if i was still smoking i wouldn’t heal very well and that was enough to scare the shirt out of me! On dec 8, 2023 i became a non smoker after getting this 50 years!! WTF?? Now a month later. Ive got a raspy throat from the intubation and ive got a chronic cough i never had before? But so far so good!! Trying to take better care of my last lil kidney… inwish u all much good luck no matter which course of treatment yountake!!
10:06 yes you biopsy and help it spread... essentially a tumour is like a 💧 water baloon and you put a needle in to suck out the water and leave a hole for potentially the cancer to leak out!!! No thanks!!!
Yeah and you think polio and measles and small pox are all conspiracy related right?? Hahahahah
I also used his herbal remedy for just 2 weeks as instructed and the virus left my body system permanently i must say Dr ademise on youtube is truly god-sent here
With the help of Dr.ademise on youtube i was able to get rid of genital warts, and so i recommend him for this
They can also become cancerous, which alot of these UA-cam videos don't mention, very misleading!!!
What do you mean? In the video he is taking about small renal masses that are malignant.
Thank you so much for the information! I'm scheduled for an operation on May 1st.
My surgery went well and was home in 2’days. They did a complete removal and used robot’s to do it!! Its 4weeks a few days and the wounds are all healed!! Amazing frikkin work these guys do!! Oh and at a cost of $162k my share of the bill was $775!! Thanks Obama!!!i loves me some obamacare! Much luck and a speedy recovery!!
Hope the surgery went well? And now cancer free?
how u doing
Excellent explanation. Thank you very much. I have a 13mm thing. I had 2time ct and 1 mri but it's too small for proper diagnosis. So I'm going to have some more tests
I have a pretty large mass on my left kidney (4x3) cm. I also have a 1.9 cm mass on my right kidney. My problem is this. My doctor wants to take out both of them at the same time and I am apprehensive about this since my creatinine is 1.5 and I don't know if doing both will affect both kidneys. I know the lager mass should come out and perhaps the 2nd one also, but at the same time? I am in the process of getting more opinions and I'd like to know yours. Thank you.
Hi does shadow on kidney means what?
I have experienced to see a small blood clots whenever I urinate and I’ve noticed that when I wipe noticed a pinkish and reddish blood, and I was feeling some discomfort on my right side, and I just turn 50 yrs old and I decided to go to E.R just the other day and I was shock to hear that they found a complex cyst lesions 1.9 cm… and I immediately called my primary care to follow up and I am scared and hoping that it will not turn to cancer…
What is the update?
My 40 yr old daughter, wife and mother of 3, had a kidney stone and after imaging a kidney cyst was found but she was told it was benign. She had blood in her urine and a dull ache on her side. The images also showed cysts on her liver so after almost a year Dr said not worry abt the liver cyst but she shld see dr abt kidney cyst and for her to have it removed and not just biopsied. So she finally was able to find a dr that Took another image. The tumor is under the skin of the kidney and the tumor is located very close to the spine and just next to the lung. He suggested thermal oblation given the size of abt 2 1/2 cm. He said could be 50/50 being cancer. The tumor does have blood vessels going into it. Please give me your opinion. Thank you
They just found a 12cm what we called a cyst on my kidney. That's really big. I have constant full pain on left side. How do you find out if it's cancer? I have had 2 cts
My age is 70 years old, female, with high blood pressure. I was diagnosed with a lesion on my top, right, kidney on 5/15/2023. The location is inside and difficult to get to. The size was 2.1x1.8x1.5 cm. I wanted to wait and monitor before committing to surgery. After a recheck, CT Scan, on 1/5/2024, the mass was 2.5x2.4 cm, the doc said it grew 1/2 cm in 6 months. It isn't a cyst because the mass didn't take up the contrast. But the mass took up the contrast. I'm still not sure if I should do surgery. The doc is 95% certain its cancer and recommends surgery. Any suggestions? If it's a benign mass, why is it growing? Doesn't growth of any kind cause problems down the road?
I had robots do my surgery a month ago they took my entire kidney as the tumor was 6cm. Roughly half the size of the kidney!! Itnwas renal cell carcinoma. Wish u a lot of Luck.
@@MaxAbrams-iy8zs hope you recover well! what type of imagining did you do? they found a 2.7 cm mass on my kidney with CAT scan with contrast. Now they want to do an MRI with gadolinium- I am worried about the gadolinium and not sure why I need another scan... the nurse said they will likely require surgery to get final diagnosis on whether it's cancer anyway?
Just found a 12cm on my left kidney. I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing they want another CT scan
On April 1st, I had a cryo needle ablation done on my kidney lesion.. I wanted to go that route before major surgery, removing portion of kidney. I feel good. Went home the same day. I will have 3 CT scans to follow up to see if they got all of it. My lesion was 2.5x2.4 cm and it grew .50 within 6 months. There is a small window in which to have needle ablation done. But I suggest anyone who has kidney lesions to ask and research needle ablation first. Everyone has to make their own choices on what they feel is right, but its worth looking into. All the best to you all.
@@HereForToday42wow. Sorry to hear but i found the work they did in removing my kidney went well thank god and they used the Davinci robots. Have first follow up scannin sept. Good luck to u.
CK OUT JOE TIPPENS CANCER PROTOCOL FENBENDAZOLE, FENBENDAZOLE KILLS CANCER CELLS AND NO SIDE EFFECTS. JESUS LOVES YOU
here in the U.K. they don’t do biopsies
Can an unknown lesion on kidney be cushings syndrome?Getting a ct soon
I just found out I have a 2cm complex cyst. CT ordered
And , please elaborate if possible what the situation is now
Excellent video. I often wonder how AI can help any better?
Can you give me your this power point
What do you postulate on BBQ dirty grills & smoked red meats chicken ribs ect ?!
Thank you so much for a really clear and informative talk. I am due to have a partial nephrectomy and this has helped me to better understand my situation. Thank you again..
Excellent information to advocate for one's health!!
Thank you ❤
My wife 29 had 11cm larg tumor in kidney without any symptoms or problems before. Completely removed with kidney and did not spread anywhere she is going on regular scanes and its still clean thank God.
What was stage???
I don't know it was size of the kidney but it did not spread anywhere no any kind of therapy needed also.@@rkvlogs8082
Wow thats awfully young?? Wish her well!! My tumor was 6 cm and in stage 1 thankfully they took my entire kidney but also i just had my 63rd bday 3 weeks prior to the discovery. Again wish u much luck and good health
@@MaxAbrams-iy8zs Oh stay strong Wish you well, its still small all should be fine after, you can live witouth any problems with one kidney. Yeah two children 2 years and 5, terrible situation but thank God everyhing is well and she is great like nothing happend <3 good luck to you!
They found a 12 cm mass on my kidney after getting Stones for first time. I had no idea. Did they know right after CT scan? There not sure what mine is yet. I do have discomfort I always thought it was my back. It's displacing my spleen and pancreas
Certain small tumors (enhancing masses suspicious for renal cell carcinoma) are very aggressive forms of cancer (ie- HLRCC) I’m in favor of knowing what’s there…small or not, incidental or not. Then treatment options can be determined.
Very good video! Thanks.
What is maximal safe resection
I was just diagnosed with a 4 cm cancer tumor on my right kidney. I'm going to have the tumor removed. Doctor said 7% chance of her coming back. Don't worry about it. And that's what I'm going to do I'm not going to worry about it. I might think about it but I'm not going to worry about it. I'm going to go through the surgery and have the treatment.
I have kidney cancer and it had spread so I am f#cked! GREAT!
I had an abdominal cyst burst yesterday and they found a 4.8 cm mass when they did the CT. I've watched a half-dozen videos so far and this one has been the most informative.
I was just told today. I have a 4 cm Mass on my right kidney. They're going to remove the tumor. And the doctor said it a 7% chance of it coming back. You made it sound like no big deal you'll be fine.
Thank you for your video very informative
We were in Australia our son sponcerd us for 1 year. 4 months there my husband landed up in the emergency room battling with breathing..the Drs there drained over 4 litres of liquid of the right lung..was tested and Drs then said my husband had lung and kidney cancer..We decided to come home ..it was a very great expense so we decided to rather come back home..was eventually cleared by Quantis for him to be able to fly home..He has also has a lump on the side of his ear..DRS here did a lung biopsy..said cancer started in the kidney..what they call round cell sarcoma. Also going to do 2 more scans..we are old age pensioners. At big hospital in JHB..Drs now talking about doing a ear biopsy. To see if has migrated to the ear..praying the left kidney is working well enough for them to remove the right kidney..
They just found a tumor 2 and 1/2 cm's on my kidney last week. Very frightening.
How are you doing now?
@@amirraza7706 I had a small stroke 2 months ago and that was NOT fun. I am leaving a zero out of five star review on that. :) I am as well as I can be. Do NOT go gently into that good night my friend. rage, rage against the dying of the light!!! You have a GREAT day and thanks I hope things are going well with you and yours.
I was just diagnosed with a kidney tumour today. This video definitely helped me get some perspective on the problem and that has reduced my anxiety levels. Thank you!
I was diagnosed last week and I require a new scan on my tumor next week. Hang in there! Good luck.
Same here.. how are things going for you?
@@ktucker8202 I was told that there is a good chance that mine is benign. But then I look at "Bozniak Scores" and such and I do not see how they are getting this assumption. All that we can do is hang in there and do the best that we can. I also had heart surgery last year so I am between a rock and a hard place and I just turned 52!!! I am a type-1 diabetic with a history of family heart issues. So, it has not been easy there either!!! No rest for the wicked, right? lolol Hang in there Tucker. An MRI found a 1.3 cm tumor on my right kidney. Went to the doctor today and it is cancer. He is referring me to a urologist. He doesn't seem to worried about it, but I am scared. He said it was in a scam a CT scan a couple.if years ago and has only grown 2 mm so he said it is a very slow growing cancer. I forgot to ask him if he thinks it has spread. Pray for me I am so scared.
My mom just turned 93 years old and has to get a biopsy tomorrow two different ER doctors has said that it looks like kidney cancer 😢

Hi, I’ll be having a partial nephrectomy, so I’ll still be having more than 1 kidney, do you think it will be okay to have 3 glasses of wine and a cocktail during a restaurant dinner experience?
Ive had negative CT scans - with stage 3 gfr of 41. New doc wants u/s- will it show more than CT?? Thank you.
Really bad sound
This is really really interesting! What happens if you have a CT with contrast and the mass does not illuminate, but then you have an ultrasound and in that it shows internal color flow in the mass? I can’t figure it out if it’s cyst or tumor.
Thank you for posting this extremely informative video.
Thanks
I had an ultrasound for something totally different and they found a 9cm grade 2 renal mass. I had 12 hour open surgery 10years ago full nephrectomy and I still here!☺️❤️
Hi what is your gfr kidney function on your remaining kidney, if you don't mind me asking
Wow what are the odds? My mom was also a Claire Louise
Claire, are you still here?
I just had a 12cm found on my left kidney. I was in shock. I don't think they know what to do
They truly know what to do. Or leaset they should?
For someone who has an elderly parent (75) with such a diagnosis, these vides are incredibly helpful, thank you Dr. Shuch.
Thank you for this! Just recently found a mass and this has been great information.
