Goverment's fix to our state's road toll? More speed cameras and lower speed limits! These dash cam videos show why people die. Carelessness, disregard for road rules (double white line overtaking seems a big one), distraction and lack of skill are the causes. We arre about to be hit with this South West speed limit trial for the next 3 years. Wait till it's deemed a "success" and becomes state wide. All residential roads are blanket 40km/h, major arterial roads of 70-80km/h reduced to 60km/h and so on. Need to start taking licences away, driving isn't a difficult thing

Your wife's comment re changing lanes in an intersection, it is NOT illegal UNLESS there are solid lane markings going thru the intersection! Not 100% on WA law but here & NSW usually it is ok to change lanes as long as there are no solid lane lines.

I’ve driven in places like Vietnam, Thailand, Cuba, Cambodian….and Perth has the shittest drivers I’ve ever seen. It’s as if the concept of keeping left or merging are viewed with similar scepticism as dark arts such as water divining or alchemy. Keep left, you cunts. That is all.

Yes just a sample of stupid Perth drivers only you didn't have any of my hate of Perth drivers trying to merging onto the freeway . By the way you tend to drive too close to the car in front but easy done by Perth drivers too :-)

perth drivers are just the dick heads sometimes. had a guy on the freeway go from the far right lane to the left in just under 2 seconds on a 3 lane road. and there were a lot of cars on the left lane

Yeah, its pretty bloody annoying having to share the roads with people that are either clueless, inconsiderate, selfish or dangerous... or all the above. Very stressful when commuting in your car. Now put yourself in my position, behind the wheel of 40 odd tonnes of truck, having to put up with that exact kinda crap whilst driving a vehicle that takes a shitload longer to brake safely. But, when I'm in my car, I get just as pissed off at assholes as when I'm in the truck. It's all about common bloody courtesy, good etiquette, not being a selfish asshole who thinks that they deserve to be in front of every other vehicle at any given chance. All it takes is one asshole, then before you know it, brake lights are popping up everywhere, the freeway slows to a crawl, asshole gets away clean whilst 200 vehicles behind them have gone from 80kph to 30kph.... all because one dickhead seems to think its their god-given right to enter a freeway and FORCE their way over 3 or 4 lanes to get to the right lane within 100 metres of entering. On many occasions I've seen people do that exact thing, then 3kms later they force their way back to the left lane to exit....... like seriously wtf is wrong with people like that?

Mate for your sake I hope nobody has uploaded your profile to RAC (or any other insurance company even though they all share) because your excess would go through the roof, as for some of the Perth drivers it must just be something in the water.
